Spain Name: Maria Year: 10 House: 2 Esta es una de las mejores escuelas en Inglaterra. Vine hace dos meses y lo primero que pensé al verla fue “me quedo ahora mismo”. Mi asignatura favorita hasta ahora es el inglés porque puedo mejorar la lengua mucho más. Por supuesto, hay tareas como todas las demás escuelas pero tenemos tiempo de estudio de 19:00 a 20:00. La comida es deliciosa y puedes elegir una variedad que la hace mejor. Amo la casa en la que estoy y me hace sentir como estar en mi hogar. Puedo tener la misma rutina que antes pero con ventajas, como conocer nuevas chicas y tener una gran familia. Maria

Maria arrived at Roedean School in August this year. In a short amount of time, she has made a wonderful impression and it would be hard to imagine House 2 without her. She has thrown herself into many house activities, leads the way in cooking, and has made some excellent friendships already. She is a diligent, polite and fun girl and carries this energy into all that she does in school. We are already very proud of her and I am confident that she will continue to seize all the opportunities that come her way and make the time she spends here one that truly enriches her life. Maria is a very gregarious student who made an impact as soon as she joined Roedean. Despite being understandably nervous in the first few days, she quickly connected with other new girls, as well as established Roedeanians, due to her approachable and friendly nature. Resourceful and resilient, she made the most of the residential trip and came back having learnt a thing or two about herself and having made even more new friends in the year group.
