CELEBRATING LOOKING TO THE OUR PAST FUTURE

125 years ago, the founding Lawrence sisters moved Roedean to this exceptional site, for the girls to be able to experience a truly holistic education. To this day the girls remain at the forefront of all that we do at Roedean. We provide a safe space for your daughter to be able to thrive not only academically but also physically and mentally, as she experiences the most important years of her development.

The Lawrence sisters strived to offer the girls the best experience and even went so far as to build the tunnel to the sea so that they could make the most of their environment. The school continues to develop to ensure we meet the needs of the 21st Century but also retain our history.

At Roedean, your daughter will be inspired, find her passions, and be stretched and challenged, whether this be in the classroom, on the playing fields, in the Arts or possibly in all three areas. We will work alongside your daughter on her journey to ensure that she is prepared to become a strong, independent, resilient young woman who is ready to face the world.
