It has been a pleasure welcoming her into our boarding community this term and it has been a joy to see Sara grow in confidence and independence as a member of House 3. Sara has been involved with all house activities including the craft and cooking activities; Halloween pumpkin carving activities, pamper sessions and Christmas tree decorating. My name is Sara and I am from Bangkok, Thailand. This is my first year at Roedean and I am in year 7. I chose Roedean because it is one of the top girl’s schools in England and it had lots of activities and programmes on offer. My first impression of Roedean was how diverse it was and it had lots of people from all over the world such as Ghana, France, Nigeria and Russia. My favourite subjects are dance, drama, history and English. The teaching at Roedean is very good because all the teachers help you when you are struggling, and activities-based learning helps you to learn the topic. The food at Roedean is very good; as a vegetarian it is of a very high standard and there is always something different every day. I am in house 3 and it is a very sweet house; all the staff and students are always very kind and supportive. During the weekend there is always a massive amount of activities to do on Saturday, and on Sunday we bake and have fun! Every day we have co-curricular activities that are on offer for us such as Dance Company, football, trampolining, textiles, sign language, farm, netball and a lot more. Overall my favourite thing about Roedean is all the different clubs and activities that are on offer.
