My final year thesis project is focused on designing a community center in Nashik, Maharashtra. The aim of this project is to create a vibrant and inclusive space that serves as a hub for social, cultural, and recreational activities for the residents of Nashik.
The community center is designed to cater to the diverse needs of the local community, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting social cohesion. The facility comprises multipurpose halls, meeting rooms, a library, art and craft studios, and sports facilities, among others.
The architecture of the community center is inspired by the local context, blending modern elements with traditional design motifs. The use of sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems ensures that the center is environmentally friendly.
