This is an honorary, one-off edition in a magazine format about László Moholy-Nagy, one of the seminal and influential figures in modern art. “By now,” wrote the critic Brian O’Doherty, “we have just about processed all the heroes, anti-heroes, and ‘figures’ of the age of modernism”; but to judge by how generally unfamiliar is Moholy-Nagy’s name and work, even among those who would walk in his footprints, he still belongs among the unprocessed, not to say neglected.
