Choose wisely

Choices, choices … what to do? and how to do it?

It might sound so simple. Just go with what you like. But it really is not so simple. As with everything else, it might just involve a little bit of planning. Of course interest and desire must drive the process, but it will also impact on what I choose now, in high-school. It becomes even more complicated because I should also start to know what I would like to do. That means being exposed to job-situations before I make a final choice. That also means I should look around and see what is out there. I have to know what ‘a job’ is. The overwhelming fear is of course that I choose something that turns out to not be my dream after all. Something I had never foreseen. Face it: we will never make good choices all the time. Sometimes, we make a choice that we have to reverse later in life.

No worry! It happens. So go forward and make the right (or just better) choice next time.
