First let's take a look at the hard way:

1. Domain Name

The first step in getting yourself set up is to get your own website. For this you're going to need your own domain name which can cost you anywhere from $3 to $15. Once you get your hosting then you will need to go back to your registrar and change your name servers to point toward your new hosting account. For people who are tech savvy this can be very daunting.

2. Hosting

Once you get your domain name you're going to have to secure a hosting account to get your domain live on the web. This can cost you anywhere from $3 up to $200 depending on the type of hosting that you want. As for myself, I use a VPS hosting account which runs me around $50 a month. But I have so many different domains that I need

something big that will host all my accounts, give me enough storage space, and bandwidth. When you are first starting out you should be able to get by with a baby hosting account which will run you anywhere from $3 to $9 per month.

3. Products/Sales Funnels

Once you get your domain and hosting set up then it's time to start figuring out how you are going to earn money online. For most people that means promoting products or creating your own products and sales funnels. This is where most people start to trip up. For someone that has never done it before product creation and sales funnel creation is a major step that can cause problems.

First, you have to figure out what your niche is actually going to be and whether or not it is worth going into. What I mean by that is that you have to figure out if the product you are going to create or promote actually has buyers who are willing to buy. Then you want to create a sales funnel that will actually get people to buy additional products from you. This is where most new marketers give up hope.

4. Keyword Research/Getting Traffic

Once you have decided on a niche and a product that you think will sell then you have to start doing research. The main research you are going to want to do is keyword research. You want to be able to get your product and sales funnel listed is high in the search engines as possible. So you are going to have to research the different keywords and longtail keywords that is going to get you

to the first page of the search engines. This is going to entail blogging and making videos that link back to your product to actually start getting traffic.

Or you can buy traffic from a traffic broker to start until you can start getting your own organic traffic coming in from the search engines. Depending on the type of traffic you are looking for this can be either cheap or very expensive. You can also use solo ads where you pay for each click on a link that is sent out to someone else's email list. With buying traffic or paying for solo ads you're going to have to keep track of what is working and what isn't so you know what you're ROI (return on investment) is. Otherwise you can wind up going broke getting traffic this way.

Don't let me scare you off, there is an easier way to do this. There are different programs

out there where you don't have to do any of the above except get traffic. You just have to find a trustworthy program that you can use.

These programs will pick the products that are actually selling, build your site, provide hosting, build your email list, do your followup emails, maintain your sites and promote different products for you that will earn you commissions each and every week. All you have to do is get traffic to your landing page that they set up for you. And they even provide a reliable source to get traffic from and show you free ways to get traffic.

If you are new to Internet Marketing and just starting out online then this is going to be your most cost-effective way to actually start earning a living online. Even a lot of seasoned veterans use this method instead of having to do everything themselves.
