Mobile tickets can be sent to your smartphone and include the unique booking reference and barcode for us to validate or scan at the theatre. And TicketSource also offers a Physical Ticket printing option so you can have the tickets posted to you for that ‘Retro’ Experience – handy if you don’t have access to a printer or mobile phone, or if you’d like to gift tickets to someone else. The lives and loves of the staff of an antiques shop in the fictional town of Manchesterford - a frantic (and frankly ridiculous) tale of love triangles, amnesiac shopkeepers, hidden wills, siblings reunited and at least one song about macaroons…

There’s been a series of highprofile crimes right across the city - but fear not...The police chief’s put his best man on the job - Dick Tracy. Will Tracy be able to save the day, get the girl and get to the bottom of who’s causing the mayhem? Or perhaps the truth is closer than he thinks... Having wowed audiences across the globe since 2006, Le Navet Bete’s Dick Tracy is a physical comedy influenced by the worldfamous detective incorporating fooling, original live music and plenty of audience interaction. Directed by one of the UK’s most exciting comedy directors John Nicholson (Peepolykus) and supported by Arts Council England in a co-production with the Exeter Phoenix, Dick Tracy promises to have the bad guys in handcuffs and the audience in stitches!

Hands Up For Jonny Wilkinson’s Right Boot! By Dougie Blaxland Wed 30 Sep – Fri 2 Oct • 8pm • Full £14 Concs £12 • Professional Theatre Sat 3 Oct (inc England vs Australia) • 5pm It’s one of those moments that no-one will forget – a time when everyone can remember exactly where they were and what they were doing: The Rugby World Cup Final 2003 - November 22nd 2003, to be precise; England versus Australia in Sydney and with just 26 seconds to the final whistle and the score standing at a tantalising 17-17, Jonny Wilkinson makes history as under huge pressure he drops a goal with his right boot to win the World Cup for England! As we anticipate the inevitable dramas of the impending Rugby World Cup of 2015, Live Wire Theatre is preparing to re-enact the history and drama not just of Jonny Wilkinson’s historic moment but of other celebrated rugby memories in their hilarious and fast moving production of Hands Up for Jonny Wilkinson’s Right Boot. From the first British Lions tour to New Zealand in 1908 to Jonny Wilkinson’s 2003 drop goal via Nelson Mandela’s presentation of the first ever Rugby World Cup trophy to South African captain Francois Pienaar, Live Wire Theatre will transport audiences through time on an astonishing round- the-world-rugby-tour complete with songs, stories and physical reenactments of matches and rugby rituals including the All-Blacks’ legendary Haka. After the performance on Saturday 3rd October, we will be showing England vs Australia - audience members are invited to stay to watch the game on the big screen.

Two middle class English ladies decide to rent a castle in Italy, in order to escape the winter gloom and husbands who are neglecting them. Unable to find the full cost, they advertise for two other, very different, ladies to join them. One is a young socialite and the other a dowager with an interesting past. Sparks follow! The ladies fall under the spell of their sun-drenched surroundings and discover laughter and new truths about themselves. They find the romance they need, though perhaps not the romance that they - or we - expect them to find.

A switch is flicked, a generator thuds and suddenly the freezing dark is ablaze. Welcome to Carnival Night. The night when small towns get to have it large, when tinsel leviathans lumber down the narrow streets and when wanderers return. On this, the shiniest night of the year, at the heart of one family something dark is lurking. Kingdom of the Icebear is part of Theatre West’s season of plays all kick-started by the notion of Moving On and will be preceded by Lazarus, a ten minute play by Marietta Kirkbride. Martin lives in Taunton and his plays include Grave Expectations (Endpaper Theatre), Icarus (Southwark Playhouse), Diggers (Theatre 503), Fake Fur Coat (Tristan Bates), Ink (Simulacra Studios), Drifters (Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter) and NightFlyer (Burdall’s Yard).

Depending on your opinion, that man is either “a comedian on the up” (The Times), “a comedian I’ve never heard of” (Audience Member) or “a very clever boy” (Nish Kumar). This is Nish’s first solo tour. You may have watched him support Milton Jones or David O’Doherty, or seen him on Comedy Central’s The Alternative Comedy Experience curated by Stewart Lee, Live at the Comedy Store and Stand up Central. Or BBC 3’s Live at the Edinburgh Festival and Sweat the Small Stuff. Alternatively you could have just sat next to him at Nandos.

She has been a film star, a television star, graced the top of the pop charts, become a pantomime legend as Peter Pan, starred in Cats in the West End and featured in no less than seven Royal Command Performances. She has never stopped performing and has worked alongside legendary names in the world of entertainment such as Harry Secombe, Phil Silvers, Morecambe and Wise, Tommy Cooper, magician David Nixon and Clive Dunn. Join her and her pianist Peter Gill in an intimate evening as she sings her favourite songs and regales you with stories from her fascinating and amazing life.

Robin & Bina Williamson Fri 13 Nov • 8pm • Full £14 Concs £12 • Music Robin and Bina Williamson work together so well because they create a perfect balance of voices. They draw on a wide variety of original and traditional songs, stories and music from Celtic, English, Indian and Old Timey roots; celebrating the turning year and the mystery of being alive. Robin is legendary worldwide as musician, storyteller and writer. He has forefronted many genres over his 50 year career. Bina is an inspired and gifted singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist in her own right. She has a hauntingly sweet melodious voice. Both artists are synonymous with The Incredible String Band. Their performances together feature their East West vocal harmonies with harp, bowed psaltery dulcimer and diverse other instruments.

In a suburban rail station, Dr Harvey removes a cinder from Laura’s eye and they fall in love. Subsequent meetings over tea, scenes debating respectability or love, and some sentimental moments transpire before they decide they must part forever. He is accepting a faraway post and she must return to a circumspect life. But will their final meeting provide one last chance for happiness…?

He first performed his supernatural tales to friends at Christmas in King’s College, Cambridge. Now Nunkie Theatre Company have brought two of these unforgettable spine chillers back to life. Oh, Whistle, and I’ll Come to You, My Lad – a tale of nocturnal horror on the Suffolk coast – is considered by many to be James’s masterpiece. It is beautifully complemented here by The Ash Tree, a story of witchcraft and vengeance down the generations.

And that snow is magic… One night, a childless couple sculpts their hearts’ desire out of snow under the Nights Rainbow, and their lives are changed forever! Rondo Drama Club create, develop, perform

Autumn Term Ages 7 – 16 4.45pm – 6pm £75 Rondo Drama Club is a unique experience where your children are encouraged to share their creative ideas and work together to use the best of them to devise a totally original play. They then get the chance to improvise, rehearse and, finally, perform it under the lights on the famous Rondo Stage. The sessions are run by Paulo Baigent, an experienced theatre director, educator and drama workshop leader. Rondo Drama Club’s weekly sessions take place at St. Stephen’s School, Lansdown with dress rehearsals and end of term performances at the Rondo Theatre itself. At Rondo Drama Club we are committed to raising confidence and self-esteem in a fun and nurturing environment. So if your children are into drama, love to have fun, are full of ideas and eager to share them, then book them in for our next term at The Rondo Drama Club. The Rondo Scriptwriting Group Mondays at 8pm from September to December & January - April Age 18 upwards. 7.30pm. £50 per term. The Rondo hosts a playwriting forum for anyone who writes scripts, at any level. The perfect opportunity to share ideas, identify problems and work through some of the tricks of the trade. There will also be visits from theatre professionals to give advice on getting your work shown. Led by Shane Morgan. Become A Rondo Volunteer Acting as a Rondo Theatre volunteer is a great way of getting closer to the theatre, music, comedy and other fantastic events on offer at this fantastic venue. In return, you get to see the shows for free, as well as to make new friends and socialise. Our volunteers work mainly as bar staff or on front of house and are an essential part of the success of The Rondo. Volunteering normally means working on two or three shows a month.
