Background The site is located in tianjin university, China. Many buildings in tianjin university look across the lake. The new library to be designed is located on the southwest side of the old library on the other side of the lake.On the north side of the lake, the architectural style is all old-style chinese-style buildings, while the south side of the lake is mainly modern teaching buildings, so the design expectation is to design a new library with modern style within the scope of the site, which echoes the old library on the other side of the lake.

The geographical position of waterfront makes the new library in a crucial position. In order to strengthen the connection between students and water bodies, the "soft border" was created".making it possible for the public space to be alive.

Due to the advance of reading medium and the increasing need for public culture, the boundary among “collecting, borrowing and reading books “is changed and disappeared in the traditional library. Instead, the flowing and mixing space among different functions appeared. The library is designed to maximize the publicity of the library, and as a carrier for opening and flowing of different functional areas. The library provides students with bright, open, and interactive space .it is a place to stay, a place for social interaction and a place to be inspired and surprised.

The project is located in the liaohe river mouth of liaohe river in liaoning province. The climate is pleasant, the temperature is suitable, the light is abundant. The base is close to the coastal road, with crescent bay, with good landscape and tourism development resources. Embrace nature, embrace red beaches, and provide a home for birds. As a special landform on the red beach and the breeding ground of birds, it is a new challenge to design the home of migratory birds in the condition of maintaining the natural ecological balance. The new buildings should be able to meet the needs of the people while minimizing the damage to the natural environment and achieve harmonious coexistence. The best direction

The reconstruction area is located on both sides of a set of streets extending from Northeastern University, which is parallel to the main road of the city, but is not easily accessible. The transportation in the whole area is very inconvenient. At present, the transformed areas are separated into blocks, lacking of interconnection and overall management, as well as greening and connection with the surrounding natural environment, which cannot br ing humanistic and ecological benefits to residents.

The reconstruction area of the family area of Northeastern University covers an area of about 6.4 hectares. The building and population density are very high, but the greening proportion is very low, less than 20%.This region is faced with the problems of land shortage, population expansion, aging and lack of green space. Infrastructure such as transportation and infrastructure cannot meet the work and living needs of community residents.

The affiliated area of nanhu campus of Northeastern University is located in heping district of shenyang, with superior natural and cultural conditions. To the north is the most famous nanhu park of shenyang, to the south is hunhe river, one of the major rivers in northeast China, and to the east is the centuryold Chinese university -- Northeastern University. Although the family area serves the school, it is completely out of touch with the surrounding environment, unable to form a system and wasting the surrounding resources.

At the beginning, the public space exists alone between the buildings and has no direct or indirect connection with the community.
As the community continues to expand in development, each public space becomes a gathering place (such as a square) in the community of the adjacent buildings.
When the community is finally formed, the respective public Spaces will not only be limited in the middle of the building, but also be connected with each other, forming a whole public space settlement that belongs to the whole community.
Step2: On the main axis extend the nodes and basic forms of the whole community.
Step4: Based on the road, it forms the basic form of buildings.
Step6: Through the interconnection between public Spaces, the whole community becomes a whole.

Residential area residents through investigation, analysis of the similarities and differences of different people demand, for the university staff, f amily members of staff , students and youth entrepreneurship design different age groups and different population of different door model, as much as possible meet the demand of various common between the people, to ensure the communication of the neighborhood and enough privacy.Different apartment types can finally be combined into similar single-floor space, which ensures the consistency of the whole residential area. Through such design, several groups of people who could not live together can live in the same residential area harmoniously, and these people all work and live around the university. Together, these people who have the same characteristics can help each other, carry forward the culture of the university and expand the influence of the university.

The buildings in the commercial area should not only meet the needs of nearby residents, but also the needs of passing social groups. There are several different ways for people to pass through the commercial area: sprint, shopping, diet, leisure and visit. Therefore, the passability and communication of the whole commercial area must be higher. Therefore, I designed a passable corridor building, which can not only meet the basic needs of the commercial area, but also provide convenient conditions for different groups to pass and stay, and improve the living conditions of nearby residents.

I investigated the needs of different users and got the functions they needed. Combined with the shape and structure of traditional dougong architecture in China, I innovated a new structure similar to dougong, making the classroom with a height far higher than the demand establish a three-dimensional space similar to ancient architecture, like a "house within a house".The soft ceiling material of silk isolates the rigid architectural space and makes users more comfortable.

Cabin design and construction We try to design a unique monomer module and apply special construction combination method to make it become the unit module of architectural appearance, structure and even interior decoration. This can greatly improve the construction efficiency of the building, reduce the cost and design difficulty.During the whole design and construction process, we continuously improved and implemented it, and finally completed the smallest combination module for people to use. Through our successful construction of the entity, we verified the feasibility of the initial guess and the design, which has a reference value for the building's energy conservation and environmental protection, energy cycle and emission reduction.
