Jewellry has since the existence of the human race has been carried off by both the genders quite gracefully. Many different materials are used to put together a ravishing piece of design that can be adorned by the the women of our times. Metals, gemstones and other such materials are easily found to be one of the most used material for jewellery. The artefact namely, jewellery can be referred to any decorative, beauty – enhancing item or material adorned by an individual out of either personal satisfaction, aesthetic appeal or due to traditional bondage all throughout the world. Personal satisfaction can be referred to as due to reasons like, the sense of being able to carry something so artistic on one’s neck whereas, aesthetic appeal, on the other hand refers to the want of garnering attention and being appreciated by many. There are many different types of jewellery such as brooches, rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets among others. They are either attached to the body or the clothes. They generally are long lived due to the kind of material used. The jewellery is not at all limited to any one form of use or any one form of culture. Different cultures have different types of designs and shapes of jewellery worn by both the sexes. The first sign of jewellery, however, dates back to as far as the continent of Africa. It was only later that the people from Europe re developed the design and gave a modern look thereby introduces crude necklaces, bracelets, and other pieces of jewellery made by different types of materials like bones, teeth, berries, stones and so on and so forth.
