Choosing to focus solely on othello Learning about visual Noise in composition Deciding to make a book
Assessment of some of the less effective images made.
The issues with these to pieces in comparison to what my work was beginning to look like as a series is that: A- the image to the left doesn't leave as much to the imagination as the other images which only give slight previews of events creating a more intimate experience for the viewer. B-The hands on tho one above have no sense of possession or violence due to the passive way they are all entwined negating the look of desperation in the eyes of Lucrice.
This Crit Gave me the feedback needed to make the decision to Focus My print series Solely on Othello. ! •

This then allows for a more indepth look into one piece of Shakespeare's work allowing for the exploration and dissection of the themes, relationships and characters Shakespeare has created. It means that my work will have to fit a more comprehensive schematic, meaning that the symbolism, composition and characters used must flow well together as a series as well as individually.
Visual Noise •
Understanding how the way I use space can effect the way people read and understand the message of a piece.
•
Realising that if I want to show intimacy or closeness I can do that better by having a close up of the characters sharing a romantic embrace from the shoulders up rather than creating a full body image in the same space as that can take the viewer out of the moment.

Learning that composition, content should always be at the forefront of you mind however you also need to think about what you’re trying to show to the audience, how do you want them to feel? Are they apart of this image? Are you wanting them to feel Immersed?
The Decision to make a book •
Feels like a more succinct way of presenting all my prints together.
•
Means That Each image will have to represent a major plot point in Othello so that any people who don’t know Othello can read this book and get the general gist.
•
Forces me to look more at how well the images work as not only a series but as a narrative.
