ased upon his many years of experience in the motor racing world, Dutchman Ron Reinders had the idea to found Racerailer. com, of which he is the owner and C.E.O. To meet the transportation needs from teams, he is using his large network of contacts. “Over the years, I have learned that flexibility and mobility are crucial to succeed in motorsport, and that is exactly what I want to provide when transportation is concerned,” Reinders says.
He took his first management role in motorsport in 2005, when he became responsible for the organisation of the Dutch SEAT one-make race series on behalf of the Dutch importer of SEAT automo-
biles. At the same time, he also became in charge of the FIA WTCC project of the Dutch SEAT importer with Dutch racing driver, Tom Coronel. He was in charge of finance and controlling, handled the planning and logistics and assisted with the media activation of the program that ran for a total of five seasons, culminating in race victories and two title wins in the Yokohama Independents’ Trophy (2006 and 2009). For seven years, Reinders was also a TV commentator in motorsports for Dutch national
television channel RTL. Before that, he was for responsible for the marketing of BBS rims in The Netherlands for over eight years, including the partnership with Dutch F1 racing driver Jos Verstappen when he drove for the Arrows team in Formula 1.

Like other financial plans offered by Racetrailer.com, finance lease is a long-term contract, which allows our customers to pay for their racecar transporter in small, regular installments. Finance leasing is similar to purchase leasing, but it differs in one crucial detail. Both finance leasing and purchase leasing allow the customer to pay for the race trailer on a monthly basis. However, when your

contract ends, the vehicle does not belong to the customer. Instead, the race trailer is then sold on by our company or you have an option to buy it yourself. Due to this system, the race trailer remains the property of the leasing company throughout the duration of the contract. In this sense, you are renting the vehicle but you are a stakeholder in the race trailer itself. Given that the vehicle e.g. asset is owned by the leasing company, you won’t need to pay for any capital allowances - meaning that your monthly repayments will be cheaper overall. The process for finance leasing a race trailer works in the following manner. First of all, you choose the race trailer that suits you and your needs. Once you’ve done this, then one of our consultants will draw up a financial contract and you’ll both

The most obvious point is that you won’t own the racecar transporter at the end of your contact. In this sense, finance leasing is very similar to renting a property. Once your contract ends, the race trailer will then be sold to a third party. If the price is lower than your initial deposit payment, then you may be subject to a fee. This is another potential downside to finance leasing.

ollowing positive feedback from many customers, four brand-new race trailers will be added to the rental fleet. Depending on your needs, these trailers are available for the entire season, a certain period of time or even for selected events. Meanwhile, some older trailers that have provided excellent service on the roads and at circuits all over Europe, will be phased out. Like this, Rent-a-racetrailer.com ensures that its (future) customers can always rely on having stateof-the-art race car transporters in great condition. Two of the new trailers accommodate five to six race cars while the other two provide space to transport four race cars and also have a luxury office
built in.
