INSTALLATION NON‐PENETRATING SYSTEM Step 1: Standing Seam Installation 1. From the quote given determine where the brackets are going to be fastened to the seam. 2. Make a chalk line or measure from the eave to the point of up the seam to where the bracket will be secured into place. This will confirm that the brackets are level with each other across the length of the roof. 3. Secure the brackets in place by tightening the stainless steel set screws and pinching them to the seam using a pre‐set torque tool set to 120 inch pounds. 4. If you do not have a pre‐set torque tool any socket set can be used. However, a torque measuring device must be used to confirm that the 120 inch pounds of torque have been met.

Step 2: Tube installation NOTE: Proper care must be taken when installing the Snostop tubes as scratching the surface of painted rails may cause rusting. 1. The tubes install one into the other by sliding the swaged end of the first tube into the opposite end of the full size tube. NOTE: Tubes can be easily cut with a power or hack saw to the appropriate length when needed. 2. Insert a stop pin on the inside of the first bracket in any run and the last bracket of the same run to prevent the tubes from sliding out of position. 3. The stop pin is installed by pre‐drilling a hole in the tubes with a 1/8” drill bit and tapping the stop pins into the hole with a hammer. 4. NOTE: Do not extend tubes more than 2 inches past the first and last brackets. NOTE: For easiest results install several brackets followed by tubing and repeat. This will help proper alignment at all times and allow for an easier install. For technical assistance please contact Cam at 1‐800‐352‐6147 ext. 102
