Why do we do it? WHY CANVAS? Because poly/cotton canvas is a tough, durable, waterproof, breathable, natural feel fabric that will outlast any other fabric many times over. WHY POLY/COTTON LINED? While canvas is a waterproof, breathable, tough, long lasting fabric that can withstand loads of abuse, it can also abuse your vehicles nice soft seats, so to protect your seats against

any damage. MSA 4x4 uses a soft poly/cotton fabric layer as a barrier between the canvas and the soft seat fabric. WHY POLYESTER/COTTON BLEND CANVAS? Ask any manufacturer of quality canvas products in Australia the same question, whether it be tents, swags or camper trailers, they will tell you the same thing. Although cotton feels natural and breathes in its 100% state, it has no strength, no fade resistance, no ruggedness, it will shrink, it needs the blend of polyester yarn to give it its strength, durability and toughness we require for everyday use. Without polyester it will have no reasonable service life. You might as well put a “T-Shirt” on your seats.

We want you to be comfortable so we use a double layer of canvas on the outsides where the higher wear occurs & a single layer in the centre. Although extremely tough our covers do not feel hard and crusty like yesterday’s canvas. WHY DUPONTTM TEFLON REPEL? Because it is the best! We want the very most from our seat covers so we decided to impregnate our canvas with DuPontTM Teflon Repel during the fabric manufacturing process. The MSA 4x4 Drop Slide The MSA 4X4 “DropSlide” was designed by us back in 2007. In our travelling experience over the last 20 years we had learnt that many 4wd touring and trade vehicles use regular slides in an attempt to gain access into fridges, toolboxes and generators when they are mounted at an elevated level. The problem was blatantly apparent! Once the platform was extended the contents still remained at the same level, out of view, above eye level and out of reach. Slides, fridges, toolboxes and generators that are mounted on top of drawers or on tray back Ute’s are impossible to access. The MSA 4X4 “DropSlide” completely eliminates this problem. With its heavy duty gas strut assisted lowering action, the “DropSlide” slides out from is stowed position and then lowers a full 30 centimetres in one safe, smooth and very easy action, all the time the platform remaining in a complete horizontal position. The fridge contents, tools or your generator can then be accessed with great ease. The slide can then be raised in one very light and easy motion back into its stowed position. It’s just too damn easy and the ladies love it! When stowing all this kit in an organiser it becomes quite heavy, so in all the MSA 4x4 organisers we install an 8mm aluminium frame in the sides and top to prevent “sagging”, especially when the seats need to recline. To make the organiser as rugged as we can we manufacture it from the same heavy duty canvas as all our products, and it can be installed on any seat with an adjustable head rest. The Original “Water Bra”! Model Number: WBL

The Original “Water Bra”! The MSA 4x4 Accessories Legendary “Water Bra” The MSA 4x4 Water Bra is the “original and legendary” water bra. It was designed by MSA 4x4 to prevent expensive damage to the vehicle’s engine components while doing a water crossing. The day will come when you don’t have a choice and the water is quite drivable, as long as you have an MSA 4x4 Water Bra of course! The safest way to do this is with a Water Bra and while it is essential that a snorkel is installed on the vehicle to allow the engine to breath above the water line, this does not prevent water being forced through the vehicle’s front grill at pressure. This results in the water being “grabbed” by the spinning engine fan and the fan then being pulled forward into the radiator. End result? No more radiator, you are stranded, and wet! The MSA 4x4 Water Bra is a 10 second “Quick-fit” design, with 1 person either side, the bra is placed at the front of the vehicle, opened, and then 50mm side straps with 6mm shock cord are wrapped around the rear view mirror mounts, clipped

and tensioned. DONE! No vehicle damaging ocky straps or tarps needed. No eyes lost and a perfect fit every time! The Bra is made from heavy duty 420 Denier, PVC backed oxford nylon for maximum strength. Lighter fabrics just will not survive the water presssure, do you want to chance it? No thanks! The recovery straps and buckles are 50mm for the same reason - strength! As an added feature, the water bra has a recovery strap pouch on the front so a recovery strap can be hooked up and stored before crossing - “just in case”. Does your vehicle have a protection bar, winch, driving lights, antennas, etc? No problem! The bra conforms to any vehicle shape and size. Any gaps between the top of the bra and the bonnet are not a problem as the water just drops down and is not forced horizontally through the grill. After another successful water crossing, the drainage gills at the bottom allow the water to drain away. Pack the bra up into it’s own storage bag. Too easy, safe and convenient! Why chance it with anything else?

The Dash Organiser Keep everything you need right where you need it! The MSA 4x4 Dash Organiser is another fantastic, innovative original that keeps everything you use when you’re sitting in the driver or passenger seat, close at hand and easy to access, right in front of you! The Dash Organiser has a velcro base that attaches directly to your dashmat, it is also supplied with adhesive touch tape to attach to the dash if you don’t have a dash mat. Easy! The organiser will mould to any dash shape, you can even install it vertically on the transmission hump.

Tie Down Kits MSA 4x4 Tie Down Kits As touring offroaders, we constantly need to secure things down, whether it be a fridge inside the vehicle or firewood on top of it, the quickest, easiest and SAFEST way to do this is with our new range of cam buckle tie down straps. All MSA 4x4 Tie Down Kits are manufactured with 25mm (450kg lashing capacity) webbing, and powder coated metal cam buckles that will not vibrate and release. As well as this, all are manufactured to AU/NZ standard 4380. Now to make life easier all the ends of the webbing are angle cut at 45 degrees so feeding the strap through

the buckle is very easy, especially when you are trying to hold the load and feed the strap! You know how after rolling up a strap it always comes undone! Well, no more! We have installed 25mm elastic loops on the tie straps so when they are rolled up, just wrap the elastic loop around the strap and then place them in the canvas storage bag. No more messy tangled straps. The canvas storage bag even has velcro tabs on the back to attach to a barrier. As it is not required, the Fridge tie Down Kit does not have the elastic loops or storage bag. The Premium Tie Downs come with PVC coated metal hooks at each end to make life even easier.

MSA 4x4 manufactures our canvas specifically for our own applications, it is the most heavy duty construction available on the market. Being Polyester/Cotton canvas it has the best of everything: polyester for strength, colourfast, fade resistance, shrink resistance and ruggedness with a blend of cotton for breathability and a natural feel. Poly/Cotton canvas in its natural state is a tough, long lasting, breathable and waterproof fabric that will outlast any fabric many times over. It does however, tend to be a little harder to clean than most machine washable, light duty fabrics. To assist with the cleaning ability of our specially manufactured canvas, we impregnate all our canvas with DuPontTM Teflon Repel during the dying process. This creates an extra barrier in the canvas to help prevent dirt, grime and fluids from penetrating into the base cloth, therefore most grime will just sit on top. To clean MSA 4x4 canvas we recommend to brush away any loose dirt or sand with a light brush, while the fabric is dry. If required, wash the canvas with a cold to luke-warm water and a sponge, then chamois the water off and allow to air dry. On the seat covers the water will not penetrate through to the seats.

Care for your MSA 4x4 Canvas Products

Do not apply soaps, detergents, bleaches, cleaning fluids or insecticides to the canvas as these will remove the waterproofing and will affect the dye. Do not machine wash (never machine wash any good quality canvas as it will destroy its waterproofing treatment). Do not allow petrol, diesel, oil, kerosene or other similar fluids to come into contact with the canvas. Do not scrub the canvas as excessive scrubbing will also remove the waterproofing treatment. Do remove deposits of organic matter such as soil, grass or bird droppings from the canvas as soon as convenient.
