The Texas Walk for Brain Injury is a major awareness and fundraising campaign for all Texans. All registrants are encouraged to actively seek sponsors and donors to help fund and support the ongoing efforts of BIAA— Tx Division, so that it may continue to provide programs and services in communities throughout Texas.

If every participant will accept the challenge to raise a minimum of $100 (that’s only $10 for 10 sponsors – just remember 10 for 10), we will far exceed our statewide goal of $180,000 this year.

(A team captain is leader of the walk team. Responsibilities include leading team fund-raising events.)

March is National Brain Injury Awareness Month, and BIAA--Texas Division has teamed up with several sponsors whose generosity is helping make this Texas Walk for Brain Injury a success.

The walk will be held rain or shine. There will be shelter; however, in the event of torrential rain or other severe weather, be sure to check the Web site.

Form a Walk Team

Family and Corporate walk teams drive the success of the Texas Walk for Brain Injury. A walk team can include family members, co-workers, students, community organizations, or anyone who wants to join the effort to raise funds to support the Brain Injury Association of America--Texas DIVISION

Raise Funds

After you register for the Texas Walk for Brain Injury, you can either set up your own fund-raising page from the website to solicit donations via e-mail, or you can download fundraising materials from the website that will help you to raise money as a team participant or individual walker.
