Gender Responsive Teaching Rita ! Why don’t you come to School regularly? You also missed the exam. Sir was asking about your absence.
I don’t feel like coming to school. I feel very uncomfortable and scared to sit in his class.
One of the significant reasons of girls drop out is due to sexual exploitation in schools.
Gender Responsive Teaching
Uhhh! I really don’t understand why he always favors Ravi.
I really want to participate in classroom activities.
He never listens to us and answers our questions.
But our teacher never gives opportunity to us.
Gender discrimination in teaching approach in classroom is detrimental to the overall learning environment of class.
Gender Responsive Teaching
Sudha, why didn’t you go to school today? I don't want to go to school today! Today is my fourth day, and there are no separate places to wash the cloth in our school. The toilets are always crowded, and there are no seperate dustbins to dispose the sanitary pad.
Lack of proper, appropriate sanitation and toilet facilities at school discourages girls to attend school regularly.
