RUSSELLVILLE & CONWAY Alpha Countertops

Opened in 2006, Alpha Countertops was founded by Lucas and Sheri Moore and Frank Parson, who also owns Springdale’s New Century Countertops. Early on it became clear Lucas was a visionary, striving to be the area’s premier countertop provider. Sadly, he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010 and passed away in April 2014. Without hesitation, Frank and his wife, Marcella, along with many employees showed their devotion as they stepped up and held Alpha Countertops together during the extremely tough time.

After prayer, consideration, and consulting with Frank, Sheri decided to make her late husband’s goal for the company her own. “This is my everything, and I come in every day and give it 100%. I try to learn and grow. I want us to be the best company we can be. I am so thankful for the employees we have; and I couldn’t do it without them and their dedication to the company,” she says.

Today, Alpha Countertops is flourishing. They have a local reputation as an honest, reputable company with high-quality work and customer satisfaction. They continue to expand, adding both new machinery and employees. In 2019, Alpha Countertops opened a second showroom location in Conway—evidence of their bright future ahead.

LITTLE ROCK Curtis Contracting, Inc.

Frank Curtis of Curtis Contracting, Inc. has more than 30 years of experience building and remodeling homes. He specializes in mid- to large-scale remodels including home additions, whole house renovations, and kitchen and bath makeovers.

Before tackling any renovation, Frank suggests that homeowners take a look at the big picture involving costs and future plans for the home. This can help them come up with a reasonable budget to determine if the renovation is a wise one.

As a contractor, Frank believes basic communication is the key to successful projects. He uses the latest apps to make conversing with homeowners, suppliers, and subcontractors as simple as texting, all while saving everyone time. Frank notes that in today’s market, he continues to see the trends of updating and expanding kitchens and baths, enlarging or adding on master suites, and gaining square footage for young adults and aging parents—all projects he and his team can make a reality for you. trendsetters EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY PAIRED WITH STRONG COMMUNICATION AND FORETHOUGHT MAKE CURTIS CONTRACTING A TRUSTED NAME FOR HOME RENOVATIONS

NORTH LITTLE ROCK Inside Effects

Inside Effects has offered design and remodeling products, fabrication services, and professional installation for new construction and renovation projects for more than 15 years. In April, the company opened a new 10,000-squarefoot showroom, and they continue to be commited to customer satisfaction. “Our showroom features 20 stone slab colors and a vast selection of tile, including exclusive brands like Walker Zanger, Lunada Bay, and Stone Impressions,” says designer Leslie Tetrev. “We also offer cabinet hardware, faucets, sinks, and flooring.”

When it comes to kitchen and bath design, Leslie says to let your individuality guide your decisions. “Always start with the one element that is most important to you, whether that’s a specific quartzite countertop slab, a backsplash you love, or a super cool faucet,” she says. “Wherever you start, we have plenty of options to complement that and bring the look together.”

In addition to the new showroom in North Little Rock, Inside Effects has ties to Contemporary Concepts and Stone Studio, both based in Texarkana.

LITTLE ROCK Leigh Lusk Interiors

With a lifelong passion for homes and interiors, Leigh Lusk opened her own design firm in 2015 with a focus on kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Now, she’s expanded to offer complete design-build services as an experienced interior designer and general contractor. “I love fixing things, especially helping people figure out hard spaces,” she says. “We focus a lot of time on not only design, but budgets and timelines, too, and have a team that oversees every detail.” By doing material selection and ordering before the project begins and being onsite almost every day, Leigh is able to avoid common project pitfalls for her clients. “Their homes become our homes, we take great pride and care in our work,” she says.

Additionally, Leigh Lusk Interiors is opening a private design studio in early 2022, where you’ll be able to shop tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and more in person.
