SIMPLE STEPS
STEP BY STEP Step 1
Select your carcass. Carcasses are the building blocks of fitted furniture. Almost every run will start with a semicountertop (SCT) basin unit, and a back-to-wall unit (BTW) which houses the cistern.
Key Features
• Standard (353mm) or slim (218mm) depth.*
• 50mm plumbing void at back.
• Removable back panel on SCT for ease of plumbing.
• Wall hangers for support.
• Height adjustable feet (removable for wall hung run).
• Adjustable shelves in base units with doors.
*Overall depth once fascias installed.
SCT unit are used to house whichever basin is chosen and provides storage.
Almost every run will include a back-to-wall unit which houses the cistern.
BUILDING
STEP BY STEP Step 2
Filler / Clad-on Panels hide the carcasses at each end. They can also be used in between carcasses for a framed look.
Key Features
• Choice of standard thickness (18mm) or design panel thickness (30mm).
• Ability to create a framed furniture look by adding panels between all units.
• Burford panels include tongue and groove effect for the classic look.
STEP BY STEP Step 3
Remember to select a cistern. The cistern is important as it provides flushing water to the pan. The cistern is housed inside the BTW carcass.
Key Features
• Cistern options for side / bottom inlet.
• Cistern options for standard height or comfort height pans.
• Pneumatic valve with 17 flush button options.
• 6 / 3L output.
• Insulation jacket for sound insulation and condensation prevention.
Fix the cistern either to back brace in furniture or to a wall. It may be necessary to remove the back brace depending on flush button chosen. It may be necessary to remove the back brace depending on flush button chosen.
2 Attach all plumbing inlets to cistern.
These panels create the front look of fitted furniture.
Key Features
• Removable top fascia. Held in place by clips on carcass.
• Soft close quick release hinges offer ease of installation and quiet closure in use.
• Doors provided undrilled to allow selection of handles.
• Same pack used for standard or slim depth carcass.
Attach all hinges and clips to the panels using pilot holes / pre-drilled holes.
Attach doors to hinge plates on carcass using quick release clip mechanisms and adjust where necessary for alignment.
Any other fascia packs such as floor cupboards, drawer units should be done at the same time following instructions provided.

Key Features
• Removable top fascia provides maintenance access to cistern. Held in place by clips on carcass.
• Bottom panel fixed in place by vertical clips (slide up to remove).
• Same pack used for standard or slim depth carcass.

Cut hole in top fascia for flush button. Template for this is provided with flush button.
Cut hole for pan inlet / outlet spigot in lower panel. No template provided but British Standards dictates approximate size and location from floor. Hidden from view after installation of pan.
Attach flush button pneumatic tubes to cistern and fix flush button in place.
These mask the plumbing gap below the carcasses. They are optional and are not required for a wall mounted run.
• Plinths are available in 1000, 1500 and 2000mm lengths and are cut to size depending on the length of the run.
• Plinths attach to the legs of the carcass using clips that are provided in the carcass pack.
• Burford plinths have an extra decorative rail at the top. Aruba and Elan plinths are flat.
Cut plinth to the desired length.
Cut end must be sealed using suitable waterproof sealant to prevent water ingress. Especially important at vulnerable floor level.
Attach clips to the back of the plinth and lock into place.
Note: No plinth is required behind the back-to-wall panel. A 1000mm plinth can be used for a 600 semi-countertop unit and the 300 Floor cupboard with 100mm spare.
A wide range of worktop options add to the custom feel of fitted furniture. Slim and standard depth in a variety of lengths and patterns.
Key Features
• All worktops are available in standard and slim depth (with exception of 3000mm only standard).
• Post-formed laminate worktops available in 1500, 2000 and 3000mm lengths.
• Strata solid surface worktops are available in 680, 1280 and 1880mm lengths.
• Strata worktops are homogenous and 100% waterproof.

Cut to length – we recommend a 5-10mm overhang at each end of the furniture to prevent water dripping onto furniture.
Aperture must be cut for basin in the worktop and top fascia of SCT unit. A template is provided with each basin.

Both strata and laminate worktops can be cut with power tools. Ideally a router or jigsaw using a guide.
Any cuts made in laminate worktops and fascias should be resealed.
We offer basins and pans which slot perfectly into our fitted furniture ranges.
Key Features
• There are a wide range of ceramic basins available in slim and standard depth and which work in 500, 600 and 700 width SCT units.
• We also offer one-piece strata basin and worktop options that can be chose in place of the SCT basin and worktop.

Attach the chosen tap to the basin and connect plumbing.
Locate the basin in place and fix with silicone sealant. This should also be applied around the edge of the basin to prevent water ingress.
Locate the pan in place and fix using floor fixings. Again use silicone sealant around all applicable joints.

ACTION:
Testing the minimum tensile stress needed to detach the paint through cutting the surface and applying and ripping of sticky tape to BS EN ISO 2409:2013.

ACTION:
BS EN ISO 15184:2012 Test consists of using pencils of increasing hardness to make marks at a 45-degree angle on the paint until the pencil which doesn’t damage the coating is found.
