Become an Apprentice! As employees, apprentices earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff to gain skills. Apprentices also receive valuable training to work towards nationally recognised qualifications. The minimum salary is £2.65 per hour however, apprentices can earn significantly more. There may be different entry requirements depending on the apprenticeship and the industry sector. Competition for places can be fierce so you will need to show you are committed.

LEVEL 1 POPULAR MUSIC COURSE Accredited by: Rockschool, Edexcel, NCFE

This practical 30 week course is music based and is ideal for relative beginners in music playing and music production, as well as more experienced musicians who are keen to take their learning further. It also supports the development of personal and social skills, including functional skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT. Join ‘The Biz’ and learn how to run your own social enterprise: Restoring furniture Printing and selling cards, bags and t-shirts Repairing and selling bikes Gain qualifications in creative craft, enterprise skills, progression award (CVs, job skills and team-building), maths and English. You can gain experience of running a business, work experience and qualifications. Travel costs will be paid along with a weekly allowance of up to £20
