Made from recycled plastic bags, the crisis cocoon serves as an alternative shelter for those in need. Plastic bags provide storage for essential items. Bags can be added to form a wall or taken off to create apertures. The qualities of the material plastic enables the cocoon to envelope the user, replicating the qualities of a womb. A sleeping bag on top of the plastic prevents users from sweating against the material.
