FREE ADMISSION PARENTS, have you become attached to your children over the last number of years? If so, arrange a meeting place with them should you get separated at the festival. If not, and you want to go back to a quite existence… leave them with us and we will make sure they get a good circus education. 19
S-Factor BLOOM PERFORMERS The-S-Factor is a farce of modern pop and celebrity culture. Two wanna be clebs, Seamus and Sean, will do anything to try and be famous. They are in some way delusional, thinking they are brilliant singers and dancers whose big break is just around the corner. They don’t realise they can’t sing or dance but in the mean time are performing high level acrobatics and circus skills.
Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata are here to amaze you! Acrobatics, comedy, contortion, juggling: this 30 minute show is a non-stop roller coaster of skill from beginning to end. Their performances combines African dance moves with skills such as bench balances; hoop diving; bottle balancing; rope skipping; hat juggling; human pyramids, and limbo-bar acrobatics.
20
That Man
That Man Show is a non-verbal, fully interactive, highly skilled piece of fantastic street theatre. That Man’s sharp, clever entertainment masterpiece is living proof that you don’t need words to create something amazing. It really dererves to be watched twice. Engaging, Versatile, Wholesome
Deathwish Gather round, gather round to witness the jaw-dropping antics of these devilishly handsome Italian Kerrymen. Are they stupid or brave beyond belief? It really doesn’t matter as they present 45mins of fantastic comedy and pure fun in their spoof danger, comedy circus show, Deathwish. The Italian Fanzinis are distinguished by their unusual hairdos, one a monster afro, the other bald as an egg. Do not miss these heroes of the Irish circus scene.
Seamus McJuggler Brian O’Connell A terrible fear of heights and tall unicycles should not be mixed together. Against all odds and logic, however, Brian does just that. The show contains displays of tremendous juggling skill, laughter, danger, and fire juggled neck-strainingly high.
He’s back – a man who believes himself to be Ireland’s answer to David Beckham – except he plays real sport! A man who is a legend in his own opinion. A man with a mission – to put GAA on the international stage using only his raw skill and pure charisma. Many would say this is a lost cause, but slowly and uncertainly Seamus McJuggler is pulling GAA kicking and screaming into the 20th Century (slowly does it) McJuggler –GAA Circus All Star – is a show full of heroics and hysterics in equal measure. Pure pleasure and simple idiocy.
TIPPING THE PERFORMERS These performers have dedicated their lives to this amazing art form, they rely on you, the audience, to make a living. If you like what you see, give a contribution and show your appreciation for some of the most talented street performers in the world.
Don’t forget to
FILL THE HAT
Balloon Modellers and Face Painters will be charging a nominal fee for their services. While the Street Performers are free to you they are only been subsidies in a small way by the Festival therefore, we ask you to ‘fill the hat’ with what you can.
