ROSE OF TRALEE

STREET CARNIVAL

FRIDAY 20TH - Tuesday 24TH AUGUST 2010

Tralee Vintners and Traders

Tralee Town Council

P

robably the best weekend you will have all this Summer. For five magical days and nights this August, Tralee town will host the 4th annual ‘Back to Basics’ Street Carnival in association with The 51st International Rose of Tralee Festival. Its our fourth attempt at trying this kind of street carnival, which in the main is 100% FREE. Of course we’d like to think we’re making progress each year, so enjoy and be safe. This weeks street events would not be possible without the dedicated committee who gave of their effort and time free on the ‘collection’. So, a big ‘Thanks a million’ to you all…. Danny Leane Chairman (Abbey Inn Bar), Johnny McElligott (Sean Ogs Bar), Shelia Sugrue, Brendan Sweeney (Sweenys Costcutters), John Sullivan (The Munster Bar), Sean Horgan, Richard O’Halloran & Ciara O’Connor. Do you want to grab everyone’s attention at your next event? If so then Shannon Star Entertainments (who put all this together and then go and run the whole thing) are the gang to get in touch with. Check out www.shannonstar.com or grab Bryan on the street if you can catch him!
