The Orlando Wedding Professionals Introduces

“The Cook and Book” March 24, 2010 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.


Calling all Caterers and Bakers “The Cook and Book� would create an environment where brides will be able to taste the culinary delights of Central Florida’s caterers and bakers. The tone of the atmosphere will be excited brides, skilled caterers/bakers, tasting various cuisines, and booking clients. This event will be taking place at Holy Trinity Reception Center on March 24, 2010 from 6:30 pm. to 9:00 pm. Through participation, vendors will be asked to create menu items to be served to potential clients; brides. These brides would be able to utilize services not only for their upcoming wedding, but also for other important events that surrounds their wedding such as: engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties...etc. In efforts for attendees to have more individual one on one time with vendors with mini-consultations we are opening invites to 75 brides who can each bring a guest. If this sounds interesting to you, we would be happy to have you as a vendor. Space is limited. The cost would be $120 for OCWP/LCWP Member/Advertiser and $150 for non-member/advertiser vendor participation. There is a $75 deposit. This would include a six foot table.


Caterers, to ensure a variety of choices available to the attendees, menu items with food choices to be prepared will be requested from each vendor. Caterers, if you have a specialty that you would like to prepare (Italian, Caribbean, French, Spanish, Vegetarian, Asian…etc.) please advise when responding. We are asking vendors to also provide a menu of items that will be prepared at the event. This information will be compiled into “Cook Book” with vendor contact information. This way the attendees will be able to know which vendor cooked which items.


Bakers, be prepared to offer your sweet delights as well as cakes that show your design skills. We are also asking for which sweet you would like to prepare for the event. This also will be put into the “Cook Book” with vendor contact information.

The goal of the evening is to have the vendors “COOK” and for the attendees to “BOOK”. This is your time to shine and show your uniqueness and range in culinary skills. Every vendor has their own style and flavorful taste. Brides and grooms are very selective when it comes to their food and cake selections, depending on what they envision for their day. Come and show them why you are the best caterer/baker for their special day!
