SHSM – Arts & Culture Sector

The workshops offering during this day will serve as certifications for Drama students in Advanced Training in an Art Form

It’s a day of celebrating all things drama, performing arts, and creativity! We invite students from across Peel Region to come together for an exciting day of workshops and performances led by Brampton-connected professional actors, directors, and educators.

Agenda

The day will begin with a keynote address, followed by a warm-up and get-to-know-you activities. Students will participate in small group workshops, and enjoy a catered lunch. The day culminates with presentations of each groups’ work-in-progress on the stage, followed by a debrief and closing remarks.

How to Participate

Students in gr. 9-12 / Parents and Guardians:

• Speak with your teacher or the drama department head at your school to express your interest

• Email us by November 8 to save your spot: rose.education@brampton.ca

• Supervision will be provided on site by City of Brampton staff

• Email your board's Arts Instructional Coordinator if more information is required

• Review important dates to ensure your students have registered successfully
