Welcome to the Brampton On Stage June to December 2023 season! Arts and culture play a vital role in our community. They help us to express ourselves, connect with others, and share our feelings with the world. This season, our stages reflect a wide range of shows from musical performances to comedy, theatre, Broadway, and more.
Brampton is a diverse city that celebrates each other’s traditions and cultures, and I am proud to see this represented on our stages. We have an exciting season ahead, including a performance of Hamlet, starring South-Asian superstar, Ahad Raza Mir. We welcome world renowned performers, such as Eva Nobelzada, along with the stars of tomorrow with the return of This is Brampton, a showcase that provides the opportunity for multi-disciplinary artistic development across all genres.
I am also excited to announce that we will be rebranding from “Performing Arts Brampton” to “Brampton On Stage” to better showcase our citywide campus of venues – The Rose, LBP, Cyril Clark, and Garden Square.
Thank you to all our valued patrons, sponsors, donors, and volunteers for their generous and continued support of the arts in Brampton.
I hope you enjoy a show... or more!
Welcome to BRAMPTON ON STAGE – our new umbrella branding that celebrates our venues – The Rose Mainstage & Studio, LBP, Cyril Clark, and Garden Square. Together, our venues create an interrelated, city-wide campus. Our high-caliber and multi-purpose facilities offer a wide range of artistic programming, concerts, special events, and experiences for communities. Additionally, audiences can enjoy programming across the city in parks and public spaces. Supported by Performing Arts, these programs are free, accessible and include: Brampton’s Own Shakespeare Show, Canada Day Celebrations, DJ Skate Nights, and more.
New this year, we will be announcing our season in two parts, bringing you more high-quality entertainment all year round. On these pages, you will see all shows from June to December 2023. Stay tuned for our January to May 2024 season announcement in November 2023.
We acknowledge that our work takes place on the treaty territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and before them, the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee (Hau-de-no-sau-nee) and the Wendat (Ou-en-dat). We also acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and other global Indigenous people that now call Brampton home. People come from all over the world to live in Brampton, and we think that this diversity is what makes the city such a special place. We are honoured to live, work on, and enjoy this land.
