n July 2019 we held our very fi rst recruitment open day so potential drivers and passenger assistants could visit our place of work. I
It’s a great opportunity to see fi rst hand the type of work involved, meet existing staff and discuss any potential points you may have.
We currently transport around 2,600 children to and from school each day. We operate 70 seat coaches which require a full PCV ‘D’ licence, 17 seat minibuses which require the PCV ‘D1’ licence to wheelchair access vehicles and eight seaters that can be driven on the standard car ‘B’ licence.
If you think a driving or assistant role may be for you or you just want to check us out for the future please come along and visit us on Thursday 23rd January. Our doors are open from 10am till 2pm at our head offi ce at Passfi eld Mill industrial estate, Mill Lane, near Liphook, Hants, GU30 7RP. No need to call in advance, no appointments are needed.

Witley Woodlarks and Frensham Froglets, are the National Trust’s new outdoor Preschool Toddler Group at the Witley Centre and Frensham Little Pond. Beginning on Wednesday, 15th January, for 5 weeks, children aged 2 to 4 years of age, can join these sessions which provide freedom and space to explore and connect with the natural world. From bug hunting to scavenger hunts, crafts, songs, games, stories and lots more. Puddles included! Booking is required. The cost for all 5 sessions is £30 per child. All singers are welcome at the annual, Haslemere Musical Society Come & Sing, which will take place in St Christopher’s Church, Wey Hill on Saturday, 8th February. The work is the well-loved Requiem by John Rutter. HMS Choral Director, Cole Bendall will conduct and St Bart’s Musical Director, Clive Osgood will accompany rehearsal. There will be as usual tea, coffee and a sumptuous array of cakes in the intervals. A small orchestra will accompany the final performance for audience (admitted free). 2pm – 6.30pm, the cost is £14 per singer (£12 for HMS members and for groups of 10 or more).
