OUR STORY BEGINS IN HALLAND, SWEDEN, BACK IN 1971 WHEN ROLAND HAMMARGREN BEGAN TO WORK ON HIS DREAM OF FURNISHING SWEDISH HOMES. THAT WAS THE FIRST STEP IN A JOURNEY TOWARDS THE MODERN FURNITURE COMPANY ROWICO HOME IS TODAY.
OUR FURNITURE IS DESIGNED IN HALMSTAD, DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM SCANDINAVIAN NATURE, AND PRODUCED IN SELECTED FACTORIES AROUND THE WORLD. OUR CEO, JESSICA, IS THE THIRD GENERATION HAMMARGREN TO LEAD THE COMPANY, FOLLOWING THE PRINCIPLES THAT HAVE BEEN IN PLACE SINCE ITS INCEPTION – SIMPLICITY, COMFORT AND FAMILY. Wood is one of our most important materials. Therefore, it is obvious to us to strive for as many of our wooden furniture as possible to be FSC certified.
This means that the material comes from responsibly forestry that consider both people and the environment.
In order for us to call ourselves FSCcertified, we must have one hundred percent control over our supply chains and our inventory management. You only need to choose an FSC-certified piece of furniture to know that you are making a responsible choice.
