Is there a better way to end the day than with a good book in bed?

We had the chance to decorate Johanna and Janne's new apartment in the 245-meter-tall Karlatornet in Gothenburg. It was a dizzying experience.

When the couple stepped into the apartment, they both felt a resounding WOW!

– It's so amazing to come up to this height and see the fantastic view over Gothenburg. The feeling is dizzying, Johanna says.

Entering a completely new, empty apartment where everything needs to be decorated from scratch is often a challenge, but it’s good to find a design of furniture you like to establish a solid base.

– I love interior design and have a quite eclectic style. I go for what I like, ensuring it feels personal. Of course, I still want a cohesive theme throughout the home, so it was perfect to decorate our entire new apartment with Rowico Home's Scandinavian furniture.

In their open-plan kitchen and living room, the apartment was furnished with the beautiful PLAINFIELD dining table paired with AMESBURY chairs. They look lovely together, and the chairs are very comfortable, perfect for enjoying long dinners. In the living room, which flows from the kitchen, was furnished with the DUNCAN sofa and BROOKSVILLE coffee table. They look wonderful together with the dining area. The marble on the coffee table and the light fabric on the sofa provide a nice and harmonious contrast to the dark brown oak.

Rowico Home furniture has also moved into the home office.

– I liked this rounded, neat HADDINGTON console table which also can be used as a desk together with the comfortable PAILSEY chair. It has created a lovely home office, and the view you have in front of you when you sit and work is not bad either, Janne adds contentedly.

Rowico Home furniture has also made its way into the bedroom. The bedroom has been decorated with a hotel feeling.

– We like dark materials and have chosen the REDMOND headboard and CLEARBROOK cabinet for the bedroom. They match so nicely and really give such a lovely hotel feel to the room.

Johanna continues;

– We are completely satisfied with the whole apartment and feel that we have achieved a consistent theme with a uniform feel. And to be able to end the day by looking out the window and seeing this view, that's not bad at all.

MILFORD is made of solid lacquered oak with metal hooks on the hat rack, clothes hanger and hanger. The collection is available in black lacquered oak, whitewash and lacquered oak.
