• For the past several years, we have hosted Warrior Weekend at Hilton Sandestin Beach. We take a group of 45–55 military families from the Special Operations Community — including Green Berets, Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, Air Force Combat Controllers, firefighters and police from Florida, Georgia and North Carolina — for a four day weekend trip. This is not a conference, but a time for these families to relax and rejuvenate together before going back to life as they know it.

Hilton Sandestin Beach helps facilitate this by going above and beyond to accommodate. Many of these men have injuries, are amputees or are battling cancer, and the team at Hilton Sandestin Beach always provides whatever is needed to make their stay comfortable and pleasurable. Each year, they ensure that those in wheelchairs or those who are injured are provided with special chairs so they can go down and enjoy time on the beach.

The staff is inclusive and extremely welcoming of each and every person. They are likely this hospitable to every group, but it makes a world of difference to these families. They care and seem to have a genuine understanding of what these families have been through and are still going through.

The staff is highly professional, accommodating and always provides a relaxing atmosphere for our group.
