14TH ANNUAL BAYTOWNE WHARF BEER FESTIVAL

Friday: 6–8 p.m., Saturday: 2–5 p.m. Join us for samplings of local brews and merchants, and live music on the lawn! Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort presents the 14th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest on October 7 and 8. American specialty brews from around the nation will be available to sample and savor. The event will feature over 200 domestic and international craft beers available at the event, offering an opportunity to learn about the different types of lagers and ales from a variety of styles. Live music will also be featured during the festival. It’s the best beer festival on the coast! Tickets can be purchased at BaytowneBeerFestival.com.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 2–SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 PERFECT HUES: BAYTOWNE ART & FOOD FEST

5–10 p.m. nightly, FREE This Labor Day Weekend, join us for Perfect Hues: Baytowne Art & Food Fest. Each evening from 5–10 p.m., stroll the Village streets as you browse a variety of artwork from local and regional artists, and savor bites from some of the area’s best restaurants and food trucks. Enjoy live music throughout the festival and a spectacular fireworks show over the lagoon on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. We love kicking off the fall season with a unique, moonlit weekend!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19 SPARKLING WINE & HOLIDAY LIGHTS

4–6 p.m. Start the holiday season with a special sparkling event during our 10th Annual Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights, Saturday, November 19. This sparkling event will feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. Guests can enjoy the sounds of the season with carolers, and get a sneak peek of our first tree lighting of the season! Tickets can be purchased at BaytowneSparklingWineFest.com.

TRICK OR TREAT STREET

6–8 p.m., FREE Calling all ghouls, ghosts and goblins to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a spooktacular extravaganza! This Halloween, trick or treat through the Village streets and visit merchants for your favorite treat. Steve Hall will play frightenly good tunes on the main stage. Be sure to stop by Coconut Kidz to enter the costume contest and compete to win the grand prize! End the night with a spooky fireworks display at 8 p.m. WEDNESDAY NIGHT CONCERT SERIES WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1–WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26

7–9 p.m., FREE This summer, sit back and relax as you take in the cool, crisp air and enjoy live entertainment. The concert series will feature both local and regional talent from a variety of genres. Concert begins at 7 p.m. on the Events Plaza Stage.

7:15–9:15 p.m., FREE Turn your eyes on the sky, and watch as we light up the night with a breathtaking fireworks show over the lagoon. Plus, you can now enjoy a DJ dance party with DJ Mike Whitty in the Events Plaza!

6–8 p.m., FREE Get in the winter spirit with us, and listen to some of your favorite holiday classics. Every Wednesday this December, enjoy our holiday edition of the Wednesday Night Concert Series. Each concert will feature a festive choreographed light show and visits with Santa.

6 p.m., FREE Watch a holiday favorite, and join us for a special showing of “The Polar Express” on an LED HD video wall in the Events Plaza at 6 p.m.

6–8.p.m, FREE Baytowne on Ice is hosting its annual Ice Skating Extravaganza! The event will feature two performances by professional ice skaters on Friday, December 9 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Both shows are free. Before and in between the shows, lace up those skates and skate around with the pros!

BUBBLY BAYTOWNE August 18, September 15 and October 20 5 p.m., FREE Join us for an evening full of free champagne and shopping during our Bubbly Baytowne event. Sip and Shop through the Village streets! Stop in various retail merchants as you enjoy a selection of premium champagnes. *This event is free and for 21 and up only. The Village will be open to the public during this event.

RED, WHITE & BAYTOWNE Monday, July 4 7–9:15 p.m., FREE Join us this Fourth of July for our spectacular Red, White and Baytowne celebration! Enjoy live music from the Trest Richardson Band on the Events Plaza Stage from 7–9:15 p.m., followed by a fireworks display that will light up the night sky at 9:15 p.m. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will also host kids activities, including kids crafts, face painting and balloon sculpting.

HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS Saturday, November 26 6–9 p.m., FREE Get in the winter spirit with us during our Here Comes Santa Claus event November 27. Cheer Santa on as he makes his way to Baytowne, and watch as he lights our Village tree! Enjoy face painting, kids crafts and a beautiful fireworks display!

BAYTOWNE COUNTDOWN Saturday, December 31 6 p.m.–1 a.m., FREE You don’t want to miss The Village of Baytowne Wharf’s end of the year celebration! Ring in the New Year with an evening to remember, with two breathtaking fireworks displays at 8 p.m. and midnight. Enjoy our familyfriendly evening from 6–8 p.m. with face painting, kids activities and live music on the Baytowne LIVE stage. Finish off the family-friendly evening with our first fireworks display at 8 p.m. The fun doesn’t stop there! Dance the night away with live music from 7 p.m.–1 a.m., featured on the Events Plaza Stage! End the night with a spectacular midnight fireworks show. There is no better place to ring in 2023!

Weddings, Meetings and Special Events Manager

1. How long have you worked at Sandestin®? I started my career here in Sandestin® 15 years ago. I can’t believe it has been that long! I started as an intern, working as a concierge from 2006–2008. I did go to work for another company on the property for 10 years and then boomeranged back to Sandestin® in 2018 when I took the wedding manager position. I am truly blessed to get to do something I love every day!

2. What is the best part of working at the resort? The best part of working at the resort is the relationships I have made with my brides, their families and my colleagues. Our team is like family to me and I am truly blessed to work with them everyday. Some of our couples and their families also become like family to me and I get to be a part of their Journey for longer than just one year of planning their wedding.

3. During your career at Sandestin®, is there a particular moment that stands out as your favorite? It’s really hard to pick just one moment that stands out when I get to be a part of one of the most important days in a couple’s life. They are all so special and beautiful. If I had to pick just one moment though it would be hosting one of the first wedding events on the Hotel Effie rooftop pool deck.

4. When you aren’t working, what are your favorite things to do? When I am not working, I love to hang out with my fur baby, Tide. He is the best! Anyone that knows me knows I love college football — Roll Tide and Hotty Toddy! I also love hanging out with my friends. Some of the fun things we do are hanging out on the water, going sailing and boating, trips to Disney and pretty much just traveling anywhere. I also love to hunt and fish with my friends and my dad.

5. Why should people have their wedding festivities at Sandestin®? We have a beautiful resort with so many things to offer our couples and their friends and family. Our wide variety of venue locations really sets us apart. We have beautiful lawn spaces, locations on the bay, renovated ballroom spaces, a stunning rooftop venue and, of course, our breathtaking beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Our couples can host different events like bridesmaids brunches, welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, bonfires on the beach and farewell brunches. The wedding team also goes above and beyond to make every couple feel special and that their day is everything they dreamed of.

6. What is your favorite thing about Sandestin®, as a resort? I love all of the festivals and events that the resort hosts. My favorites are the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic (it’s cool that I get to support my friends that enter too), the gumbo festival, wine festival and beer festival.

7. If there was one thing that you wish everyone knew about Sandestin®, what would that be? How truly beautiful the resort is and the amazing team who is like one big family. The Sandestin® team is always ready to help our guests make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
