GETTING BACK TOGETHER
Face-to-face meetings and event gatherings bring a return to normalcy
BY HANNAH BURKE
The pandemic may have normalized Zoom meetings, remote conferences and virtual event platforms, but for Jon Lovett, Director of Events at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, the reinstatement of faceto-face meetings and gatherings is a welcome return to good business sense.
“You can’t put a true measure on how important it is not only for fellow coworkers and association members to meet in person, but also for businesses to get in front of their customers again,” said Lovett. “And, doing so here at our beautiful resort, plus having the ability to take advantage of all the amenities we have to offer, makes that all the easier.”
After all, more decisions are made over a cocktail, round of golf or aboard a fi shing boat than could ever be made over a phone call.
Situated on what many consider to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and boasting intimate boardrooms, spacious ballrooms and al fresco deck space for your crowd to convene, Hilton Sandestin Beach and its expert event planners successfully host thousands of get-togethers and special events year round.
“Navigating through the pandemic was a challenge, but we are already seeing a large influx of interest in 2023 events which leads me to believe that this market is back,”
Hilton Sandestin Beach boasts banquet space to accommodate groups of up to 2,000 across three ballrooms, prefunction spaces and a 1,260-squarefoot theater.
