Welcome to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Centre for Lifelong Learning. Recognised as one of the world’s top three performing arts education institutions*, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland offers students a distinctive learning experience like nowhere else. We have been teaching in Glasgow for more than 170 years and this is the only place in Europe where all of the performing arts are taught within one campus. Students benefit from learning in a vibrant, collaborative environment and we are proud to programme over 100 courses for adults across the disciplines of dance, drama, music, production and film. Adult learners choose to study through the RCS Lifelong Learning department for many reasons. Some wish to develop their skills to pursue further study or a career in the performing arts, some want to develop their existing professional skillset, and many students come to us to explore a new hobby or meet like-minded people. There is a range of study options available including evening classes, short studies and summer schools. These open access courses create opportunities for everyone to engage with the performing arts, regardless of age or experience. We hope to welcome you to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland this year.
