Taster courses

Our Taster courses for Year 12 students will give you a sample of the topics and facilities off ered by some of our academic departments. The courses are non-residential, free of charge and off er a great opportunity to experience university life. International students

Our International team provides support and advice to prospective students, teachers and parents outside the UK. We visit over 30 countries overseas and attend a wide range of education fairs, both online and in person. For more information or to fi nd out if we’re visiting your country, email us at international@ royalholloway.ac.uk We also host a range of virtual Open Days and online presentations for those who are unable to visit campus. Our Schools Liaison team, together with academic staff and current students, works with schools and colleges to support prospective university students with all aspects of considering which university and course to apply to, the UCAS application process and preparing for life as a student. We off er a wide range of seminars and activities for prospective students and their parents/guardians and visit schools in some areas to provide faceto-face support and advice. Widening Access

Our new Widening Access team provides information, opportunities and support for students in Years 7 - 13 across London and the south east, whose personal circumstances or backgrounds mean they are less likely to progress to university.
