List of Rules for International students in the US Millions of international students keep trooping in every year and the US rules and policies are being revised under different administrations. International students can only work on- campus 

International students are disallowed from during the first year of their program

Students must have a valid F1 visa and the training must be in correlation with the academic program being pursued.

International students are allowed to work based on intense academic hardship. Fulltime work is allowed during vacation and part-time for 20 hours a week. Approval from USCIS with proof of academic hardship is a must.
