The last two years have made us acutely aware that we are all connected, and strong health systems are of utmost importance. The risk of new pandemics, the effects of climate change, and economic uncertainty are adding to the changing health landscape and bringing new health challenges.

With a multidisciplinary team of researchers, educators and advisors, KIT has over fifty years of experience training professionals in global health who have lasting impacts on health service delivery in their home countries.

Our training programmes respond to current global health developments and are known for their practical application, multidisciplinary approach and interactive participatory training methods. Our beautiful building is home to a vibrant international community, working, teaching and sharing knowledge about different public and global health issues.

By bringing together people from different countries and regions, KIT’s international courses create a forum for linking and exchanging experiences among a broad range of health professionals and development practitioners, both during the courses and afterwards through our alumni network.

At KIT, we seek to improve global health by empowering tomorrow’s global health leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to address new and existing health challenges and to have a life-long impact.
