MARY HOSPITAL CILEUNGSI

Mary Hospital is a healthcare institution with a dream of attaining international standards in its services, facilities, and human resources. Architecture is one of the key elements that brings this dream closer to reality. The creation of an architecture that is inclusive for all, environmentally beneficial, and health-conscious undoubtedly propels this dream towards becoming a tangible achievement. The translation of this architectural idea is manifested in the intricate details carefully crafted at every corner of the building.

One significant architectural concept in the design of Mary Hospital’s building revolves around its facade. In order to enhance the patients’ well-being, the facade is intentionally designed to be as open as possible, incorporating large windows that align with the interior layout. Additionally, sun shading elements have been incorporated to regulate sunlight during critical times, such as late afternoon. The choice of facade colors is rooted in psychological principles, aiming to instill a sense of tranquility in anyone who beholds it. The design of the sun shading elements is selected to not overly obstruct the hospital’s views, serving as a preventive measure to ensure that those within the building do not feel claustrophobic.

The canopies are crafted in a cantilevered form, eliminating the need for columns beneath them, with the intention of facilitating smooth circulation within the complex lobby area.
