Emperors Palace has proudly launched its Supanova Stadium Gaming arena, a first for the gaming industry across Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands, that boasts an electronic gaming setup of 30 new Diamond series G5 interactive machines offering 24/7 electronic tables games.
Emperors Palace Launches Africa’s first Stadium Gaming Arena USING AN Interblock system, the Supanova Stadium Gaming arena offers players a choice of four games that can run simultaneously or independently including Automatic Roulette, Live Roulette, Multi-hand Blackjack (also a first in Africa as no other establishment offers this version of the game, allowing users to play up to three hands of Blackjack at once), and Virtual Baccarat / Punto Banco. Each machine allows players to choose between different games in dealer-assisted or auto-
matic video formats, with a big and beautiful highdefinition 27-inch LCD display. Increasing player comfort and excitement, each game is presented on large PID’s (Player Information Displays) where all four games’ statistics are displayed for player convenience. Players can play on up to four games at any time. For maximum comfort, all stations are ergonomically designed and boast colour-adjustable illuminated armrests and a high-quality sound system.

To celebrate the launch of its new Supernova Stadium Gaming area on Thursday evening, June 6 Emperors Palace invited celebrities, members of the media and other special guests to experience the thrill of playing on the 30 new Diamond series G5 interactive machines that have been installed in a special area on the resort and casino’s main casino floor. After playing a few games of Live-Roulette and Multi-hand Blackjack, two of the four electronic games available in the area, ten finalists competed in a Live-Roulette play-off to win R10 000 for the charity of their choice. After the last hand, actor Loyiso MacDonald had accrued the most credits and collected the cheque for his charity, Red Cross South Africa.
