Carlo's Book of Juggling inspired Roy Pomerantz to manipulate different objects throughout his life. The book offers a minimalist, Zen approach to juggling and motivated Pomerantz to become a professional. Pomerantz has appeared on CBS Nightly News and earned national recognition as a master of his art form.
Roy Pomerantz Student At Columbia University Roy Pomerantz helped pay the tuition for his Columbia College education by performing on the streets of New York. He was also featured in an article in Newsday about his juggling shows during the half time at Columbia football and basketball games. Pomerantz was Founder and President of the Columbia University Jugging Club. he taught juggling as part of Columbia's Alternative Education Program. While at Columbia, Pomerantz was one of 50 people from over 5000 applicants to be selected to attend Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College.

One of his favorite moves is the neck catch. Pomerantz tosses a ball and catches it on the back of his neck. He then rolls the ball down his head and flips it back up into his juggling pattern.
