Mike McGrath- Player/Manager, centre-back/midfield

DoB 4/9/85, Birmingham, age 37

Played for a number of clubs in England and Ireland, most recently Kettering Town, Hereford FC and Evesham United. Had a spell with Sporting in the 2017/8 before re-joining last season. Plays mainly at centre-back but can also operate in midfield. Appointed as player/manager in October 2022, following the departure of Thomas Baillie

Andy Mason - Assistant Manager/Football Development Manager

Was the team coach for Sporting when Paul Smith was the manager for the FA Vase run and the invincible season of 2016/7 when The Rouslers went the whole league season undefeated. Appointed assistant manager when Brendan Kelly took over. Returned to the Club this season as the Football Development Manager linking together the First team, Colts, Academy and women's teams. Now assisting Mike McGrath in the dugout.

Adam Marusiak - Goalkeeping Coach

Started his career with Worcester City and then went on to play for Bromsgrove Rovers and Tividale amongst others Spent 2 years working with Wolverhampton Wanderers development centre before moving to America for 4 years and working in Connecticut, New York, Philadelphia and Texas

Continued his coaching career back in England with Redditch United and Alvechurch Recently returned to Sporting and after carrying out the role early last season.

Gavin Blackwell - Sporting Therapist

Experienced and knowledgeable "physio", who joined Sporting at the start of the season. Been involved at a number of non-league and league clubs including Aston Villa, WBA and Wolves.

Tom Taylor - Centre-back and Team Captain

DoB 6/2/90, Shrewsbury, age 33

Joined Sporting in 2018, moved to Stourbridge two seasons ago season but now returned Played in Shropshire and was at Shrewsbury Town as a youngster, then moved around North Wales Formerly a striker netting 58 goals for Pentraeth in 2012/13, injuries forced him to convert into a defender. Outstanding player despite having to cope with Type 1 Diabetes.

Ollie Taylor - Goalkeeper

DoB 25/5/99, Epsom, Surrey, age 23

Son of legendary Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor, moved from Alvechurch having previously at Redditch United. Highly rated 'keeper who joined Sporting last season.

Joe Curtis - Centre-midfield

DoB 4/2/94, Northampton, age 29, 5' 9"

Joe is a centre midfielder whose previous clubs include Southampton, AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Stratford Town. Joined Sporting this season.

Kartell Dawkins - Defender/Midfield

DoB: 16/4/04, Birmingham, age 18, 5' 10"

Joined Sporting at the beginning of this year after being released by Leicester City. Played for AFC Rushden & Diamonds on loan and had a trial at Sheffield Wednesday.
