1933) Appealing original production drawings of Mickey and Minnie Mouse from the animated short Mickey’s Mellerdrammer, which depicts Mickey as old Uncle Tom with a cane and Minnie as Eva. Both accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 12 x 9.5 animation paper; the Mickey sheet is marked “79” and the Minnie sheet is marked “130.” Character images measure 2.25 x 2.25 (Mickey) and 2.5 x 3 (Minnie). In overall fine condition, with a few trivial creases to Minnie sheet. The piece has the original Disney Courvoisier Galleries label affixed to the reverse of the backing. In fine condition, with some mild rippling. Cels of Snow White in her tattered rags are quite rare, as she wore them for only a short time at the beginning of the film. Includes a production cel from the same film, which contains a large stylized image of a large number “3.” Both cels are slightly trimmed to 13.75 x 10 and 10.5 x 8.5. The Lennon, Harrison, and Starr images each approximately measure 1.25 x 1.25 and the “3” cel image measures 5.75 x 6.25.
