509. Beatles: John Lennon Signed ‘Twist and Shout’ EP. Sought-after Parlophone UK pressing of the band’s debut EP, Twist and Shout, signed on the reverse of the sleeve in red ballpoint, “John Lennon.” In very good to fine condition, with corner creasing and light handling wear. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and a provenance statement the step-son of the original recipient, saying that it was “signed for her in red on the back by John Lennon after a Beatles concert at the ABC Cinema Carlisle England on 21st November 1963. She told me she went to two Beatles concerts in Carlisle that year, in the Spring and then again in the Autumn, and at the second concert she took along a copy of Twist and Shout which had been released in March [sic] and then queued at the stage door until John Lennon came out.” Starting Bid $500

Very desirable EMI Records (Netherlands) 45 RPM record for the Queen single ‘Bohemian Rhapsody / I’m in Love with My Car,’ signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor. In very good to fine condition, with light wear, and short tears, to the top edge, and fair contrast to the Deacon and May autographs. The record is included.
