536. Neil Armstrong, Charles Conrad, and Jimmy Stewart Signed Aviation Hall of Fame Ticket.
Dinner ticket for the 1980 Enshrinement Ceremonies at the Aviation Hall of Fame in Dayton, Ohio, on July 19, 1980, 4 x 2.25, signed on the reverse in ballpoint by three of its members: Apollo moonwalkers Neil Armstrong and Charles Conrad, and Academy Award-winning actor James Stewart. In very fine condition. Conrad was one of five aviators enshrined at this very event, while Armstrong became a member in 1979, and Stewart was posthumously inducted in 2009. Starting Bid $200

Cooper, Jr.,” with an unknown hand adding an inscription above: “Best wishes to M/Sgt. Official color glossy 9.75 x 8 NASA photo of President Nixon enjoying a laugh with the Apollo 11 crew as they peer out of their quarantine trailer following their historic lunar mission, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “Best wishes to John Jacob—Mike Collins” and “Neil Armstrong,” and in blue felt tip, “Buzz Aldrin” and “Richard Nixon.” Reverse bears purple NASA caption text and Kodak watermarks. In very good to fine condition, with a crease to the lower left corner, and two vertical bends passing through Armstrong’s image and signature. Two items: an ink signature, “Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11,” on an off-white 4.25 x 2 card; and an oversized official color 15.75 x 21.5 NASA photographic print of LMP Aldrin descending the ladder of the Lunar Module Eagle, signed in black ink, “Buzz Aldrin.” Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 22 x 28. In overall fine condition; framed backing bears an affixed “Apollo 11, Plate IV” caption sheet. Consignor notes that the photo derives from the collection of an early Disney / Epcot executive.
