4| Editor’s Note Hi Key Clubbers! January has been a great month for Key Club! I’m extremely happy to see everyone volunteering in the new year. Also, our very own officer, Abby Reddick, was elected as the new Lieutenant Governor for Key Club District 5 this month! We’re so excited about more exciting projects coming up, such as our Tree Plenish partnership (check it out here!) Also, thank you to everyone who made a heart message this month. It’s been so rewarding seeing all our hearts around school! Again, thank you to everyone who took the time to get involved this month, and we’re looking forward to more great things to come for February! Sincerely, Elle Higgs Key Club Editor

President’s Note Hello Key Clubbers!! I can’t believe we are already more than a month into 2024 !! I hope everyone had a smooth beginning of year! Key Club mainly focused on spreading positivity at school this month! We created paper hearts with positive and uplifting messages, which we then put up around school. We dedicated a wall for students at school to take a positive heart message off the wall to keep and brighten their mood or pass it along to spread the kindness! We also collaborated with DECA this month to help create bracelets that spread awareness of anxiety through Project 333. The Key Club Officer board has been working hard planning our fundraiser in March. We will be fundraising through Chipotle to purchase tree saplings from Tree Plenish which we will then plant in our community! Keep a lookout around campus for this fundraiser’s flyers! We are also planning our end of year social which will be something to look forward to! Most importantly, Officer Applications are now open! Check Google Classroom for instructions and apply!! We encourage everyone to apply! January has been a great month, and we can’t wait for more months to come! Keep up the great work Key Clubbers:) Take care<3 Sincerely, Dana Abuamri Key Club President
