20th Winter School As usual Winter School at the Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry was another outstanding success. Under the direction this year of Pat Houghton, the school was full with 146 dancers, five non-dancers and eight staff. Teaching along with Pat were Graham Donald, Sue Porter and William Williamson. The musical line-up was equally stellar with Muriel Johnstone, Marian Anderson, Jim Lindsay and Ian Robertson. Pat reported that the music was particularly outstanding. The two highlights of the week for Pat were the Wednesday evening concert with virtuoso performances from the musicians and the unforgettable Ball at Blair Castle with all the musicians on stage.
