IT IS TIME FOR A PEP TALK

By Mr SACHIN SHAH , RTI University Manager

Round Table believes in enhancing the lives of our members and those of our local communities. We have always learned to adopt new ideas, adapt them to our lives, and continuously improve on them. By doing this, we create a better world for our community & ourselves.

THE DRIVING FORCE for most members to be a part of Round Table is the great fellowship we share and the impact we can make on others. Personal development is one of the hidden benefits offered to our members. When we join up, we have little idea about the journey of personal change that we embark on. Tabling allows us to learn about new cultures and geographies and see the world differently. We believe that Round Table can be a great contributor in developing the skills of every member with the rich experience and learnings that we all share.

A PEP TALK TO ANY INDIVIDUAL can motivate members to live new ideas. The Word PEP means high on energy and high spirits or liveliness or to make someone or something more lively or exciting. This analogy has inspired me for arriving at the three pillars that the RTI University would follow this year. Personality – We look forward to enhancing our members' skills by facilitating training in time management, public speaking, communications &team management. We will be exploring a host of mediums to reach out to you, with experts and facilitators from all walks of life. The differentiator of any RTI training is the fun element brought along the learning. We also plan to arrange physical training sessions at the HYM and the WM during the year.

Experience – We will use the best experience of our members, past Tablers and experts in sharing best practices. We have successfully conducted the Table Talk on Operation Head Hunter during October, with many more to come. Keep yourself tuned to the RT International Facebook page, where all the events are presented live. Facebook also provides an opportunity to make learning more interactive and fun.

Process – Some concepts such as recruitment, retention, project planning or the effective use of Tabler.World can be daunting. We are designing our training specifically to highlight the processes that need to be followed to achieve the best outcome. We plan to cut through complexity and give practical and usable methods to succeed.

ADDITIONAL SESSIONS will be arranged, such as vice-presidents training and the incoming International Board to provide specialized skills to our future leaders.

We would love to hear from all of you on how to take the RTI University to greater heights. Please feel free to mail me with any of your training needs, and we will attempt to assist in this regard: universitymanager@ round-table.org

We are looking forward to a year filled with Knowledge & Learning!

Yours in table

Sachin Shah
