B.F.B.C. Presents A Dramatic Message: What Seat Do You Sit In? We the Pastor and the Mother’s Board of the Bible Fellowship Baptist Church, Sunday, July 7th at 3:00pm will present “What Seat Do You Sit In?” This presentation is to convey how as Christians we should be careful about the way we conduct ourselves. Some of us do not care about the way we think or act, even the things
we say. Throughout the presentation a question is being asked and none of us should look at our fellow man. Let us all take-on the introspective look at ourselves through our spiritual mirror. We strongly believe that when our flaws are revealed to us, we will truly ask God to create in us a clean heart and to renew the right
spirit within us. So the question is “What Seat Do You Sit In?” The seats are scornful, neutrality, criticism, boastfulness, judgment, division and jealousy. Please come and be our guest. Ezra 3:8 Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the Lord. 9 Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren,
Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites. 10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, after the ordinance of David king of Israel. 11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. 12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: 13 So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.
IN FOCUS Betty thought she would never live to see this day come: an African-American inaugurated as president of the United States. At 75 years old, she had seen and lived through her share of injustices. She also recalled horrible stories of racism from her parents and foreparents who were slaves. Betty saved her money and God made special provision for her to make it to Washington, D.C., to attend the inauguration festivities. Betty took her granddaughter, Ashley, to teach her the importance of this moment in history. As the president was sworn in, Betty was overwhelmed with joy and began to cry. She reflected on the years of oppression and degradation of her people, as well as the sacrifices made to make this day possible. When the ceremony concluded, she shouted for joy and praised God for His goodness. God’s Word promises that He would cause us to triumph in His name and bring us to a place of victory. In today’s lesson, we will read how God uses Jeshua, the Levitical priests, and Zerubbabel, the governor of Jerusalem, to restore the Temple of God after returning from exile in Babylon. THE PEOPLE, PLACES AND TIMES Jeshua. A high priest of Judah, Jeshua (also called Joshua) was born during the exile of the Jews in Babylon (587-538 B.C.). Before the exile, high priests had been subordinate to the kings of Judah. But when King Cyrus of Persia permitted the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild their Temple, Jeshua assumed a major leadership role along with the Jewish governor, Zerubbabel, who remained subject to the Persian ruler. Together, the pair saw to it that an altar was erected and worship restored in Jerusalem. Levites. Descendants of Levi served as assistants to the priests in the worship system of the nation of Israel. As a Levite, Aaron and his sons and their descendants were charged with the responsibility of the priesthood, offering burnt offerings and leading the people in worship and confession. BACKGROUND The book of Ezra is an account of Jewish history, which records their release from their 70 years of exile in Babylon as prophesied by Jeremiah (Jeremiah 25:11) and the return of the first wave of Jews in 537 B.C. through the second wave in 457-458 B.C. The first half of Ezra’s chronicles the rebuilding of the Temple after its destruction in 586 B.C. under the leadership of Jeshua, the high priest and Zerubbabel, the governor of Jerusalem. One of the key tasks of these leaders in restoring the temple is to reinstitute worship according to the Law of Moses by offering up sacrifices unto God. The people were called upon to consecrate themselves and submit freewill offerings unto the Lord as well as provide the resources and talent
to rebuild the Temple (Ezra 3:1-7). By the hand of God, the Jews also received favor from King Cyrus as he brought back the vessel of worship taken from the house of the Lord that King Nebuchadnezzar stole during their conquest (Ezra 1:7). Restoring worship and honor to God was very important to accomplishing the task of rebuilding the Temple and turning the people’s hearts back to God, since their captivity was a consequence of their idolatry. IN DEPTH 1. The Temple Work Begins (Ezra 3:8-9) Jeshua, the the high priest, and the Levitical priesthood set the tone for the work ahead through worship—putting God in His rightful place after years of captivity. Jeshua and Zerubbabel, governor of Jerusalem under King Cyrus’ rule, led the way by appointing men 20 years old and older to supervise the work of restoring the house of God. As the first wave of Jews returned from exile in Babylon, there was no question about their first task: to restore the place where the presence of the Lord dwelled. The rebuilding of the Temple was the first step in regaining their statehood as a nation again under God’s protective covering. Ezra 3:7 noted that money was given to the contractors (artisans, carpenters and masons) and food, drink and oil given to neighboring provinces (Tyre and Zidon) to allow for safe passage of construction materials between ports in Lebanon and Joppa. King Cyrus of Persia, who was under God’s orchestration, provided authorization and gave the order. As the people worshiped, God made provision for the work of the Temple to begin; in the natural and in the spirit, the foundation was laid. 2. The Temple Work Incites Praise (vv. 10-11) As the foundation of the temple is restored, the Levitical priesthood continues in a posture of worship by adorning their vestments; specifically, the Levitical priests and descendants of Asaph led the charge of praise as outlined by King David. The priest blew the trumpets as a signal of victory and the descendants of Asaph who historically have been noted as musicians and singers played the cymbals (1 Chronicles 15:1619). It was absolutely in order for worship to accompany the repair of the foundation, and as this monumental event occurred, it evoked the people’s praise to God. Taking a page from David’s psalm book, they gave thanks unto the Lord for His goodness and mercy, which endures forever (Psalm 136:1, 11). As the foundation
By the end of the lesson, we will: KNOW that we should find joy in restoration; FEEL joy in restoration; and PRAISE God for restoration.
Keep In Mind:
“And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid” (Ezra 3:11).

was laid, the Children of Israel were boisterous in their praise and shouted unto God with a voice of triumph. After 70 years in captivity, many who survived did not think they would ever see their homeland again; therefore, it was a joyous occasion to witness a new beginning—God’s restoration at work in their lives. When we think of the goodness of the Lord and all that He has done for us, it should evoke praise in our heart as well. Throughout God’s Word, we see examples of His lovingkindness to restore and redeem His people. In fact, God’s very nature is one of mercy and grace. The greatest example of God’s grace is His redemptive work through Jesus Christ our Lord to accomplish His original intent to commune with humanity. 3. The Temple Work Sparks Lament and Joy (vv. 12-13) While there was great joy in the repair of the Temple’s foundation, it was also met with sadness. In verse 12, the King James Version uses the term “ancient men” to accentuate that the tribal fathers who had seen the glory of the former house wept loudly as the foundation of the restored Temple was laid. Having witnessed the splendor of the former Temple and because of the consequences of their sins that had led them into captivity in the first place, these elders may have grieved, but at the same time they recognized the goodness of God and longed for His presence again. The praises and lamenting were intertwined and not discernable between the two because both were loud. There are times in worship where you may be in awe of the presence of God and His goodness, but also there is a realization of your sinfulness. We are bound in this realm and limited in our level of experience of God’s presence. However, as our spirits yearn to be in His matchless presence, the Holy Spirit (who is gives us a foretaste of what’s to come) makes intercession for us with groans and moans that are too deep to discern (Romans 8:1827). Regardless of the context of our cry, we can be confident that our Father hears our heart and cares about the cry (Psalm 34:17). SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES Fill in the blanks. 1. “And when the ______________ laid the ______________ of the temple of the Lord, they set the priests in their _________ with trumpets . . . ” (Ezra 3:10). 2. “And they ______________ together by course in ______________ and giving _________ unto the Lord; because he is _________, for his _________ endureth for ever toward Israel” (v. 11). DISCUSS THE MEANING 1. What was the significance of having men ages 20 and older supervise the restoration of the Temple? 2. Discuss the role of praise and worship in the restoration of the Temple. 3. Why do you think the ancient men wept and shouted once the foundation was laid? LESSONS IN OUR SOCIETY
As a nation, particularly as people of African descent, we have seen hard times and tribulation. We have known the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, but through it all God has been and continues to be faithful. In recent history, natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes have devastated the South, and most notably affected were the poor and disenfranchised. However, as we avail ourselves to God as His instruments, He has used people as an extension of His love to be a helping hand to those in need to restore lives. God has placed in all of us a resilience to overcome adversity by trusting in His faithfulness, so when we see the hand of God move on our behalf, a release of joy and gratitutde to God must be automatic. MAKE IT HAPPEN Reflect on a time in your life when you have seen God move on your behalf to restore you after a moment of defeat or failure. How did you feel? Recall your praise unto God, and as an act of worship, ask in prayer where He can use you to be a light in dark places to restore someone else in need. house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the Lord. 9 Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites. After receiving clearance from King Cyrus to rebuild (Ezra 1:1-5), the work began in the second year (537 B.C.) of the second month, which according to the Hebrew calendar Iyar (EE-yahr) or Ziv (zeev), was April-May. Zerubbabel, who was a Jew and governor of Jerusalem, represented the government’s involvement in the repairing of the Temple and Jeshua, who was the high priest, represented the interest of the Temple. They worked in partnership in providing the leadership needed to bring restoration to the Children of Israel. After release from captivity, the rebuilding of the

Temple marked a new beginning for the Jewish people. They had been unable to truly worship God (due to their own waywardness), but God is gracious in how He allowed them to endure captivity with the promise of their return to their own land and house of worship. The remnant of the priests, and those from the Levite tribe ages 20 and older were called upon to supervise the work of rebuilding the temple. Because the Levitical priesthood and their brethren were keepers of the Law and servants of the temple, who better to ensure the work to rebuild the former house of God was done to specifications? The artisans, carpenters, and masons completed the manual labor and the Levites led the way and ensured that the project was funded and managed and that worship was reinstituted (Ezra 3:3-7). And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house
1-888-290-7277 of the Lord was laid. As the builders laid the “foundation” (Heb. yacad, yaw-SAD), the priests and the descendants of Asaph (‘acaph, aw-SAWF) brought music into this momentous occasion to restore the joy of God’s people and mark that the construction of God’s house was under way. The priesthood, adorned in their garments of linen, was in charge of leading the praise unto God, calling the people to assemble according to the order given by God to Moses. They blew the trumpets (Numbers 10:1-10). Children of Asaph, who were also descendants of the tribe of Levi and recorded in the Scriptures to be musicians and singers (1 Chronicles 15:16-19), were in charge of the cymbals. King David was a worshiper and knew how to get God’s attention. He left his music as a legacy for ongoing acts of worship in the Temple and it remains applicable today. Music is always used to usher in the presence of the Lord. Taking a page out of King David’s hymn book, the people sang togeth-er and rejoiced in the Lord for His goodness and lovingkindness as they were now free to worship (1 Chronicles 16:34; Psalm 106:1; 107:1; 118:1; 136:1). David opened these hymns of praise unto God to acknowledge that He is always faithful. Although the Children of Israel ended up in exile for their sins (rebellion, idolatry and waywardness) for 70 years, God remained true to His covenant promises to
NEWS@RAISETHEPRAISENEWS.NET their forefathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David, and it was truly a celebration to return to their homeland and rebuild. The people shouted unto God with a voice of triumph. When God brings about great deliverance, it should evoke a clamorous and rousing praise of gratitude for He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:2-4). Psalm 149:3, 5 exhorts, “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.” We are to be vigilant in making a joyful noise unto the Lord and celebrate Him in good times and bad. Many of the priests and Levitical tribal elders, who were called “ancient (older) men,” openly wept as they were overcome with mixed emotions of joy and grief. They witnessed the first version of the Temple so the reason
for the grief could have been twofold: sadness over their sin, which was the result of the demise of the first Temple as well remembrance of its former glory. Solomon received everything he needed from his father, David, to build the first structure (1 Chronicles 28:1019; 29:2-3); needless to say, the rebuilding would pale by comparison. In addition, their deliverance from captivity in Babylon and return to the land of their heritage brought shouts of great joy. The wailing and rejoicing could not be discerned, and they were loud. I suppose we have heard it all, like “Sermonettes produce Christianettes, or you can’t limit the Spirit.” We have no quarrel with those of these opinions, yet at Bethel, sermonettes are having many positive results. Our 12 Sons of the Bethel are developing their skills in concise presentations, correct interpretations and partnership presentations. So, once again on Sunday, June 30th in the 11 o’clock worship hour, our Associate Ministers will be sharing on the subject, “What Prayers Should Be Made In Behalf of the Church”, based on Ephesians 3:15-19? God has given the ministers of Bethel a spirit of loyalty to Pastor Pope and a camaraderie based on love and dedication to the cause of Christ. This is your invitation to be with us on the 4th Sunday in June at our 11 o’clock worship service to witness the working of the Holy Spirit through these chosen vessels of the Lord. The Associate Ministers are: McKinley Alexander, Jr., Charles Randy Allen, Tony Hale, Roosevelt Hall, Michael Jones, James Lettries, Quentin E. McKinney, McKinley Moore, Tommie Ross, Xezakia Rouse, Alvin Stafford, Jr. and Ishmael Torres. Bethel is located at 10905 S. Compton Avenue, Los Angeles. Stop by and receive a blessing. Reginald A. FOR YOUR GOOD!
JASON TROY LEWIS
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” These are the words of the Apostle Paul found in Romans 8:28. It’s an assurance to believers in Christ Jesus, that any and all circumstances we encounter, ultimately have a purpose and role to play in our spiritual development to be like Christ. While it’s a highly popular passage, it can be difficult to embrace while bombarded with the enigmatical circumstances we encounter in life. Simply stated, life is extremely
mysterious and we can never be fully aware as to why that is, but the assurance of the Child of God is that we can trust that The Lord has a purpose and plan for all we experience. Paul states clearly, that “All things are working for our good.” This word ‘all’ means ALL. Everything! The good, bad and the indifferent are working in concert in our lives. Now the experience may not be pleasant, but there is still good that is gleaned from every incident. Accepting this notion is easier said than done. It can be rather difficult to see the forest for the trees; but it’s a reality that can only perceived by faith in Christ. The challenge is maintaining a devotional life of spiritual progression when The Lord allows you to face tumultuous circumstances. Let me elaborate by sharing an illustration with you. ‘A man bought his wife a bouquet of freshly cut long stem red roses for their
wedding anniversary. When he arrived home he presented her with the flowers. In her haste, she reached into the box rather carelessly and her hand was met by thorns that were attached to the stems of the roses. As pain shot through her hand and blood began to trickle down, she continued to hold the flowers by the stem. She ultimately recognized that the intent of the giver was not to harm her, but was to display how much he loved her.’ Can you hold God by them stem even when life is painful, uncertain or discomforting? It may be difficult to understand or embrace, but know that there is always purpose in every circumstance we encounter. It’s all for our Good! The Redeemer Church of Los Angeles 1631 W. HOLY TECHNOLOGY The early churches were in a tent When soda pop only costed 5 cent Preachers preached up a storm Without technology in any form As the 1970s rolled around And water was free all over town Modern life I began to see Preachers whooping on color TV Gradually more technology on the scene Gospel music played on answering machines Though I preferred gospel music on the radio The religious concerts put on a show A decade later I got an holy email Warning I would surely go to hell If I didn’t forward it to five friends That’s when life as I knew it came to an end Now there’s holy technology everywhere Like it or not, I get my share Not quite sure what is next Last night I received a holy text Some people read the Bible on their cell phone And that’s okay don’t get me wrong Some on Kindle others on Nook But give me that Holy King James Book

When Will It All Pay Off?
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. – 1 Corinthians 9:24-25
by Andrea Andrews It’s challenging to understand why it is that a faithful Christian who obeys the Lord often finds themselves
deficient in worldly things. As they are on the daily grind to do what’s right, the exhibition around them of pagans who do not accept their God or worse…once believed and are now apostate, (who seemingly have every carnal and rich possession on the face of the planet), continue to be rewarded. While that Christian soul has no idea what wicked acts the seemingly wealthy person
has committed to obtain such things, their heart still longs for recognition that they have honored God. So what do we tell a Christian who begins to become faint at heart when they ask, “When will it all pay off?” The Apostle Paul illustrates to us in many ways that our efforts here in this realm are certain to be rewarded in heaven with wreaths or “crowns” – five of them to be ex-
act. The Five Heavenly Crowns consist of: 1) The Imperishable Crown 2) The Crown of 3) The Crown of Righteousness 4) The Crown of Glory 5) The Crown of Life. The Word of GOD reveals such things to those who seek Him and renders peace to us when Paul tells us “Do not grow weary in your well doing…” – Galatians 6:9 Let us remember not to be seduced by the spirit of mam-
mon – lusting for expensive cars, homes, clothes, etc. Rather, as we commit to doing the work of Christ for the coming Kingdom, may we rest on the promise that God will provide our every need at all times… ALWAYS. Moreover, that He will assign our crowns in the Kingdom of Heaven. Peace, Love & Blessings www.theprocesschristiancounseling.com
and true. 6-And He also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. …7-All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children..27-Nothing evil will be allowed to enter…but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The joys and blessings which
we experience in this present life is only a masked-foretaste of what shall come to be when Satan and sin will no longer be among the People of God. We shall enjoy the sweet visible presence of our Great God, the Lord Jesus Christ and of the Holy Spirit. The question is: Will You Be There? Will you be among those who will eventually experience EVERY ETER-
NAL PROMISE WHICH GOD HAS MADE? Will you experience the unimaginable, everlasting joy which God guarantees to those who are faithful to Him? Will your name be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? know they are MIA (missing in action), or they become passive and indifferent. I think it is time for a change don’t you? When striving to grow or reach another level, we must realize it can’t be done by doing things the same old way. There is always a choice about the way we do ministry, even if there is not a choice about the ministry itself. Be willing to try something new, especially if it doesn’t affect the cause of Christ and God still
gets the glory. Allow those you lead the opportunity to step up to the plate and have a chance to hit the ball! Someone might strike out but at least they tried and with your encouragement they will be willing to try again. Someone will hit a home run and because of their success others will want to participate. It’s called CHANGE, and change can be exciting, but did you know change can be an emotional process as well? How we
handle that emotion and the choices we make about change dramatically impacts our success! Dr. Joyce is a lay-person, under the leadership of Pastor Ticey Brown, at Mt. How many times as leaders have we kept our hands on something because we wanted to make sure it was done right? What we don’t realize is that we stagnate the growth of others when we do this. Once Bitten, Twice Shy… “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” – Luke 10:19
LADY DR. PHELENCIA A. WHITE
Should the CHILD OF GOD be AFRAID or EASILY FRIGHTENED after being BITTEN by SATAN and HIS IMPS? The resounding answer is, “NO!” (1 John 4:16) This idiom, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” implies that we are TO BE AFRAID which is in DIRECT OPPOSITION to the WORD OF GOD for we have NO REASON TO FEAR.
(Isa. 54:17; 2 Cor. 10:3-6; Rom. 8:31-39) Our AUTHORITY over our ADVERSARY is LIMITLESS and POWERFUL through God in Christ Jesus. (Matt. 28:18) Our LEVEL OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY will determine how ADVERSARIAL SATAN will be in his ATTEMPTS TO DESTROY our lives. (John 10:10) If we recognize Satan’s SHENANIGANS [nonsense, trickery and mischief] (Acts 13:10; Eph. 6:1020) and RIGHTLY DIVIDE the Word of Truth (2 Tim. 2:15; James 1:22-23) to DISCERN him (Heb. 4:12-13), a BITE or STING is most imminent. Once BITTEN through his WORDS OR DEEDS (Ps.
140:1-13) instead of FEAR, we must LEARN FROM THE EXPERIENCE, SHAKE THE DEVIL OFF INTO THE FIRE (Acts 28:3-6) and REST IN THE KNOWLEDGE (Prov. 1:7; Matt. 10:16) that we have the POWER OVER THE ENEMY through the BLOOD OF JESUS. (2 Cor. 6:3-10) To further FORTIFY OUR FAITH (Jude 14-25) we must CONTINUALLY ACKNOWLEDGE our TRUST IN GOD (Prov. 3:5-6) our LOVE FOR GOD (1 John 4:18-21) and our BELIEF that we are COVERED (Psalm 1; Heb. 12:1-2) by His PROTECTION (Psalm 91). The job of the SERPENT is to move about in a SEEM-
INGLY NONTHREATENING manner (Gal. 2:2-6), to catch us OFF GUARD, in a relaxed STATE OF MIND (Titus 1:15-16), so it can COMMUNICATE with us. (Gen. 3:1; Gal. 5:19-21; 2 Peter 2) The SCORPION just LIES IN WAIT offering the PRELUDE OF A DANCE (1 Tim. 4:1-2) some busyness to engage you (1 Peter 5:8-10), to draw you in and then WITHOUT WARNING it strikes to hurt and torment you. Jesus KNEW the character of the “SERPENT” so well that He used this VERY TERM to describe the PEOPLE who OPPOSED HIS LIFE MISSION by calling them “VIPERS”. (Matt. 3:7-8)
VIPERS are venomous snakes, however, the very name means malicious, spiteful or treacherous. When referring to these people as a FAMILY COLLECTIVE, He called them a “GENERATION OF VIPERS” referring to the lineage of which is still VERY ALIVE TODAY! (Matt. 12:34-37; 23:3339) Who are the SERPENTS and SCORPIONS of this day? (John 8:42-47; I John 3:7-11) If those who PREACH THE WORD OF GOD AS IT IS WRITTEN (Gal. 1:6-11) SUFFER SPIRITUAL ATTACKS (2 Tim. 3:12-17) as CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL (Mark 3:20Continued On Page 15 ONCE BITTEN ....

Living Trust vs Probate And Wills - Ma’Trees Ministries a Christian Service Mission Working with charitable, Educational Religious Organizations, helping people in need, I Rev. Reese, Information Counselor; due to previous experience can share my ministry. It took time, but we made it with hard work and our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. We spoke in churches informing our people about probate, and about the many problems our families are going through in the probate courts. We shared information on how to protect their property, and assets. I would
draw up the Living Trust and all the documents for them as needed. The vision that I saw Twenty years ago, that vision has reappeared. Once again I am assisting families on how to protect themselves from probate by getting a living trust. Probate has been in existence for many, many years. We should know at the junction, by now holographic wills, and last will and testament are being probated. All is needed to protect ones property and assets is a Living Trust. Probate means higher

taxes, court fees, and legal fees that could run into hundreds
of thousands of dollars. In some cases, this causes homelessness and families to fight among themselves; tearing our families apart, losing everything we have worked for. Those that have wills can discard them because they won’t keep families out of probate court. The legal system says there is no excuse for ignorant of the law. I’m always reminded of Hosea Chapter 4 Verse 6, “my peoples are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee. That shalt
be no Priest to me: seeing thou hast; forgotten the law of thy God I will also forget thy children.” What is needed for us is to communicate more about Living Trust than wills. We should communicate through our church community and the entire community. I am a member of the Baptist Minister’s Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California. My membership has been over two decades and I am in good standing with the brotherhood. For more information contact (323) 971-1294 –business, or (310) 749-0948- cell.
