ONE FAITH FELLOWSHIP’S NUGGETS FOR THE SOUL NOPE, IT’S NOT IN VAIN It is truly amazing how large existences spring from such very tiny beginnings. This applies in every area of our lives; people and animals evolving from sperm cells, endearing relationships and marriages developing from casual introductions, huge arguments igniting from one insensitive word, etc. James 3:5-…a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. Large and majestic oak trees originate from very small seeds. How often do we forget this very simple truth: that if we plant seeds, we can grow trees!! Just as we
“give” seed into the ground to receive back multiplied seeds, so it is with everything we give. Whether it is money, possessions, emotions such as love or hate, prayers, or our time, we will reap a harvest on whatever we give. We reap exactly what we sow (Galatians 6:7-8), and we receive proportional to the same measure that we give. “He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2Co 9:6). ((NLT- You will always harvest what you plant.). (A.Wommack Ministries). If

we plant seeds of kindness to others, we will grow trees of thankfulness and blessings both from them and from God for allowing God to use us to
“minister” to them. Each time we sacrifice our time, efforts, smiles, words, finances and other resources for the enrichment and blessing of others; Daddy-God takes note and rewards us. Even if it is not the same people we have extended kindnesses to, Daddy-God uses others to sow back into our lives for the good deeds we have done. Daddy-God does not penalize us or cancel His principle of blessing us when our acts of kindnesses are not appreciated or accepted by others. We don’t have to insist that others accept our of-
fers of good deeds so that we won’t miss our blessings. We must just have a sincere desire and willingness to do or give whether it is accepted or not; for Daddy-God deals with and rewards us individually. That truth gives us the motivation to refocus and to recommit to continue doing acts of kindnesses even when we have been wounded or rejected. How many times have we witnessed the truth of Luke 6:38Give, and you will receive. Continued On Page 14 NOPE, IT’S NOT.......

A PROMISE OF LAND
Bible Background • GENESIS 12:1-7; 13; 15:7-21; 17:8 Printed Text • GENESIS 15:7-21 Devotional Reading • HEBREWS 11:8-16
AIM for Change
By the end of the lesson, we will: DISCUSS the significance of God’s covenant with Abraham; TRUST God to keep His promises; and TELL others about the inheritance God promises to give to believers.
Keep In Mind:
“In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates” (Genesis 15:18).
Focal verses:
Genesis 15:7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. 8 And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? 9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. 10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell KJV
IN FOCUS Mariam’s parents always treated her special. Her father gave her the best of everything in life. He promised her, “I’ll always take care of you.” Her life began to change when her father was injured on his job as a firefighter. At first he was able to get disability checks, but soon they stopped. He applied for Social Security Disability but was denied. The financial strain affected his relationship with his wife. They argued all the time. Her parents divorced when Mariam was thirteen years old. Her father disappeared, and no one knew where he went. For many years, Mariam wondered what happened to her father, and became very angry and bitter. One day, Miriam received a letter from a lawyer who represented her father’s estate. He had recently died and left all of his estate to her. Mariam contacted the lawyer and discovered that her father had been living on the West Coast, where he found a doctor who helped him recover from his injuries. It allowed him to secure a job as a fire safety trainer for corporations. Her father expressed in his will that he wanted to take care of Mariam as he had promised. All of it was now hers. All believers will receive an inheritance from God. In today’s lesson, we will examine the inheritance God promised Abraham and Sarah. THE PEOPLE, PLACES AND TIMES Abram. Abram grew up in the Euphrates River town of Ur, in what is now southern Iraq. For unknown reasons, his father, Terah, decided to move his entire extended family to Canaan (Genesis 11:31). Terah stopped halfway to Canaan. He settled some six hundred miles upriver in the busy caravan town of Haran, on Turkey’s side of the border with Syria. After Terah died, God told Abram to finish the trip to Canaan (12:1-3). God also promised to make him into a great nation, even though he and Sarai had no children. Abram obeyed God and moved his family and herds southward to Canaan, an area now known as Israel (12:4-5). Canaan. A name of the country west of the Jordan and the Dead Sea, and between those waters and the Mediterranean. The name means “belonging to the land of the red purple.” It was a land in which the Canaanites and Phoenician traders trafficked in red-purple dye obtained from the spiny warm-water shellfish called murex on the Mediterranean coast. The land is now known as Palestine. The Canaanites engaged in nature worship and had prostitute goddesses and many other gods. The land was given by God to Abram and the Children of Israel (12:7; Exodus 6:4). BACKGROUND Abram was a descendant of Shem, Noah’s son. His father, Terah, moved the family from Ur to Haran, which was near Canaan. Terah
OCTOBER 6, 2013 -Bible Study Guide 6 upon him. 13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. 15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. 17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. 18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
never completed the journey to Canaan. God directed Abram at seventy-five years old to pack up and move his family, servants, and possessions to Canaan (12:15). He promised to grow Abram’s family and make them a great nation. By faith, Abram obeyed God and traveled to Canaan. God appeared to Abram in Canaan and promised to give the land to his offspring (12:7). His wife, Sarai, was sixty-six years old at this time. A severe famine in the land caused Abram to take his family to Egypt to live for a while. He made Sarai lie and tell the Egyptians she was his sister (12:1013). Abram feared they would see how beautiful she was and kill him to keep her there for Pharaoh. They were treated very kindly and given animals and servants by Pharaoh. Later, serious diseases afflicted Pharaoh and his household because of the lie Sarai and Abram told (12:17-20). Pharaoh sent them out of Egypt. Abram was more wealthy than when he came to Egypt. Both Abram and his nephew, Lot, had acquired many livestock. The land in Canaan could not sustain both their livestock and possessions. To avoid conflict among the herders, Abram let Lot choose land to live on. Lot chose to live near the wicked city of Sodom because it had good pasture and a dependable water supply. After Lot departed, God once again promised Abram the land and innumerable offspring (13:14-17). Abram moved his family and possessions to Hebron. A war broke out amongst the kings in the area, including the king of Sodom—he would eventually flee and retreat (14:8-10). All the possessions and food of Sodom and Gomorrah were seized, along with Lot. Abram assembled 318 trained men and went to rescue Lot (14:14-16). Abram rescued Lot and the other captives. He also recovered all their goods and possessions. IN DEPTH 1. The People Exalt Themselves (1. Abram’s Uncertainty (Genesis 15:7-11) Abram had just defeated four kings and rescued his nephew Lot and others (ch. 14), yet God needed to encourage him. It is unclear why Abram was so afraid. Abram may have feared that the nations whose kings he had just defeated would rise up and come against him and his family. God reassured Abram that he had no need to fear (15:1). Moreover, God promised to protect Abram from all his enemies because He was his “shield.” God also promised to reward Abram for trusting Him. But a personal relationship with God
was Abram’s greatest reward. Abram heard God’s reassuring words but still complained about being childless. He was upset that his chief servant, Eliezer, was his only heir (15:2-3). If a husband and wife were childless, it was legally permissible to adopt a slave or servant as a conditional heir. God told Abram, “Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness” (15:5-6). Abram is the “father of all them that believe” (Romans 4:11). God also said to Abram, “I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it” (15:7). God’s covenant with Abram was announced and confirmed (12:14, 13:14-17, 15:1-7). But Abram still wanted confirmation and assurance that he would possess the land of Canaan (15:8). God requested that Abram bring a “heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon” (15:9). Abram cut the animals into two pieces, except for the birds (v. 10; Leviticus 1:17). 2. God’s Promise (vv. 1216) Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a frightening great darkness came over him. God spoke to Abram while he was asleep. He foretold the captivity of the Israelites by the Egyptians for over 400 years (v. 13; Exodus 12:40). They would be mistreated until God punished the Egyptians. Ultimately, the Israelites would be released and leave with great possessions from the Egyptians (Exodus 11:2-3, 12:3536). These events would occur after Abram’s death at the age of 175. Just as the Israelites were dwelling in Canaan before their captivity, they would dwell there again after four generations (Genesis 15:16). A generation was the age of a man when his first son was born. This meant a generation for Abram was one hundred years. It would take 400 years because all the wicked Amorite people had to be cast out of the land after God passed judgment on them. 3. God’s Covenant Confirmed (vv. 17-21) “A smoking furnace, and a burning lamp” passed between the animal pieces (v. 17). This represented the presence of God. Often God’s presence was manifested through fire (Exodus 3:2, 14:24, 19:18). A covenant was confirmed by the slaughtering and cutting of animals in two halves between which the two parties walked. It was a symbolic act meaning that if either broke the covenant, it would be with them like it was with the slaughtered animal. God gave Abram a sign as assurance that the covenant was real and trustworthy. This covenant was an unconditional divine promise to fulfill the grant of the land. When the smoking furnace and burning lamp passed through the animal pieces, this ratified the covenant. Today, we do not need to see smoke or fire to be assured of God’s promises. We have the Word of God and our testimonies. We can remember that
Jesus, who was the offspring of Abraham, promised to give us a lasting inheritance if we put our trust in Him. He has prepared a city for us to live in with Him for eternity. The New Jerusalem, a holy city, awaits us (Revelation 21:2). SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES 1. What did God promise Abram and his descendants (15:7, 16)? 2. How did God ratify the covenant He made with Abram (v. 17)? DISCUSS THE MEANING Abram wanted proof or assurance from God that His promise would be fulfilled. God confirmed His promise by telling Abram about future events. Why is it so difficult to trust God’s promises without having proof? LESSONS IN OUR SOCIETY People often make promises they have no intention of keeping. This cultivates an environment of mistrust. We learn to trust people based on their word. God proved He is trustworthy because He has fulfilled every promise made. It sometimes can be difficult to trust the promises of God. What are some of God’s promises for your life that seem impossible to believe? What impact does God’s promise of an inheritance for His children have on your faith? MAKE IT HAPPEN Abraham is the “father of all them that believe” (Romans 4:11), and that makes all Christians his heirs. God promised an inheritance to those

who put their trust in Him. We will live in a city, the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2). God will dwell there with His people. This week, share with unbelievers God’s promises so they too can one day dwell in that holy city with God. It would be wonderful to inherit lots of money, houses, and land from someone. In reality, it may not happen. If it does, it will not last. With the exception of eternal life in heaven or hell, nothing lasts forever. FOLLOW THE SPIRIT What God wants me to do: REMEMBER YOUR THOUGHTS Special insights I have learned: MORE LIGHT ON TEXT Genesis 15:7-21 Like the prophet that Abram was (20:7), he “saw” a conversation with God in a vision (Heb. machazeh, makh-az-EH, used only four times in the Old Testament), which started with verse 1 of this chapter and during which he queried God about his offspring (vv. 2-3). This was his fourth of eight conversations with the Almighty. This time, God promised that he would have a child, not by adoption or other legal means, but a biological child (v. 4), and that his descendants—literally “seed” (Heb. zera, ZEH-rah)—would be as uncountable as the stars (v. 5). Later, God would promise that they would also be as numberless as the sand of the seashore (22:17). The much-quoted verse 6 says that Abram “believed in
S

the LORD,” for which God credited him with “righteousness.” Abram had just become the father of faith (see also Romans 4:1-3; Galatians 3:6-9; Hebrews 11:8-10)! John Walton writes, “Recognized righteousness becomes the basis for blessing” (The NIV Application Commentary, 422). Similarly, John Sailhamer notes, “Only after he had been counted righteous through his faith could Abram enter into God’s covenant” (The Expositor’s Bible Commentary, 129). In our lesson, God will make an eternal promise regarding a key aspect of that covenant: land, aptly named the “Promised Land.” 7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. Soon God will speak similar words to Moses just prior to making another major covenant with him at Mount Sinai (Exodus 20:2). God’s deliverance, bringing them “out of Ur of the Chaldees,” will mirror His coming deliverance of the Hebrews “out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” Both are spoken as reminders of God’s sovereignty and divine power of salvation, but more than that, they are identifying char-acteristics— God alone has intervened on behalf of His people; it is God alone who delivers His people from bondage and sin. 8 And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? 9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three

years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. 10 And he took unto him all these and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. Abram’s honest question was met with an odd answer consisting of not only bringing five animals but also cutting three of them in half—the heifer, goat, and ram (all normally acceptable as sacrifices)—and laying out the halves opposite each other. Inexplicably, he did not divide the two birds. Little is known about this ancient ritual, which seems to be a way of ratifying a covenant or taking a blood oath—similar to today’s signing of contracts or having something notarized. One verse, Jeremiah 34:18, reveals a similar scenario; a few ancient texts also reference similar rituals. 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away. Commentators agree that this probably refers to divine protection from Israel’s enemies, which Abram’s faith provided as he drove away those who would devour. A parallel reference might be made with Matthew 24:28-30, during which vultures descend on carcasses. In both instances, the birds of prey immediately precede a darkening of the sun, which then precedes a future redemption. It is possible that this refers to the coming of Christ, the protecting Shepherd, the One who returns and redeems, as referenced in the Matthew passage. 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell
NEWS@RAISETHEPRAISENEWS.NET upon him. Adding to the mysterious imagery is the fact that this series of events happened while Abram was in the modern equivalent of an induced coma. At this point, he saw terrible, future events that would happen to his flesh-andblood descendants, namely Egypt’s enslavement of the Hebrews. It is noteworthy that this is the only time God spoke to Abram in such a manner; all seven of his other encounters with the Lord were when he was fully awake. With overlapping references such as this, God reaffirmed the earlier connection in verse 7 with the future enslavement in Egypt and the coming deliverance. A connection with the Exodus and its typology-rich deliverance inherently makes a connection with Christ, who
delivers any who believes from their slavery to sin. By following Abram’s example of faith, believers instantly become his spiritual descendants, who collectively are as numerous as the stars by now! 17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. Here, the ritual was complete with the symbolic “smoking furnace” (“firepot” in many versions) and “burning lamp” passing between the halves of the severed animals. While there is room for interpretation of the symbolism, the explanation that seems best suited for the context is that the smoking furnace or firepot represents judgment, and the burning lamp represents the light of the world—both of which could represent either God’s presence or Christ. Sailhamer’s view is, “God walking through the parts represents his presence with his people” (The Expositor’s Bible Commentary, 130). This was God’s response to Abram’s question in verse 8—He sealed His promises with His own presence and fiery, brilliant nature. The borders of the Promised Land seem to be the same as for the Garden of Eden (2:10-14). Walter Brueggemann believes the description fits a later time in Israel’s history: “It can be claimed that verses 18-21 describe the actual borders of the monarchy at its high point under Solomon (cf. 1 Kings 4:24)” (Genesis, Interpretation Bible Commentary, 150). For believers today, the old lessons of faith and patience exemplified by Abram still apply because the object of our faith, God, has not changed. “God is always impressed with faith,” says Walton (441). What God starts, God will finish, even if He does not operate on our timetable. The Old Testament prophet Habakkuk writes, “Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (Habakkuk 2:3). Similarly, in the New Testament, Apostle Peter asserts, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise” (2 Peter 3:9; see also Philippians 1:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:24). Will They Know?
JASON TROY LEWIS
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” - John 13:34-35. Christ’s intent for all believers is not merely to know him, but to be a student and follower of him. To admonish his teachings and to walk practically in obedience to him. This is what it means to be a ‘disciple’ of The Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, Christ demands our discipleship to
be a public matter and not private; He wants people to know that we are his disciples. In Matthew’s gospel, the sixth chapter, Jesus refers to us as ‘salt of the earth’ and ‘light of the world.’ The implication is that people should be able to visibly see and be influenced by the works of our relationship with Christ. In John chapter thirteen, he specifies more clearly that the characteristic traits of a true disciple are evident in how they treat one another; more definitively, to love one another. The love shared amongst believers in Christ is the most beautiful display of love from a humanistic experience. It’s a love that fortifies the Christian character and is a testament to the efficacy of our relationship with God through Christ. However, this love ought to transcend that of brotherly love in Christ and reach those who are lost so they too may be saved. But the pressing question we all need to ask ourselves is ‘will they know that we are His disciple?’ Is the power of Christ so compelling that others are easily made aware that we are His? Charles G. Finney, a great revivalist of the 19th Century was reported to have walked into a cotton factory near Whitesboro, N.Y. As Finney simply observed the machinery, one worker, then another sank to the floor and burst into tears and in a few moments nearly all in the Continued From Page 14 room were WILL THEY KNOW in tears. THE PROCESS....
TRANSITIONS
But Ruth replied: Do not persuade me to leave you or go back and not follow you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. - Ruth 1:16-1.7
byANDREA Andrea ANDREWS Andrews Many Christians face change and transitions in their lives with great anxiety even
though they know that change is inevitable. Comfortably living in the same place and working in the same capacity for extended periods of time create a false sense of comfort for many. It also makes it difficult to move when God says “move” leaving one in jeopardy of disobedience. It is important that we never outstay our
assignment – each place where God leads us being a temporary appointment to accomplish His will through us for His glory and for the fortifying of The Kingdom. When we become complacent and comfortable we are simply feeding our own flesh and selfishness. Giving our lives to Christ means that our life is NEVER
our own. For, those who lay down their lives will gain eternal life in Christ. Ruth’s faith in a God she’d never known is a profound example of what trusting Yahweh is all about for those of us who profess His Name. When God asks anyone of us to “move”, He never does so without express provision. He also never sends us where He has not equipped us or pre-
pared a place for us to go. In scripture, there are countless accounts of His sending forth a messenger, disciple, servant, prophet, king…and He ALWAYS prepared the way for them. If God is calling you to move, trust Him. He is faithful to ALL who honor Him. Peace, Love & Blessings – Mrs. Garcia w w w. t h e p r o c e s s c h r i s tiancounseling.com
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
7 Keys To An Effective Ministry (Part 2) A Leadership Lifter by, Rick Warren
DR. JOYCE HARRELL
(Continued from 9/22) Number 4, “a ministry that is effectively blessed by God is performed in God’s power. He says, “By the power of signs Continued From Page 4 NOPE, IT’S NOT.......
Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount of time, resources and other kindnesses which we give will determine the amount we get back. “Jesus’ followers must be generous. We must be known among men as givers rather than judges. Boundless generosity, limitless kindness to all, saint and sinner-that is what
and miracles, through the power of the Spirit, I fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.” In John 15:5 Jesus is talking. He says, “I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit. But apart from Me you can do nothing.” If you are not preparing yourself spiritually for the ministry you’re in --whether you’re a greeter or an usher or a hostess or whatever, it’s not counting. But if you are spiritually preparing yourself, saying, “Lord,
I realize that today in our church there will be 5000 plus people who will come across this patio. May I just touch a few of them with the love of Jesus Christ.” Then it counts. You do it in the power of the Holy Spirit. You don’t just do it in the power of your own personality. Some of you are just naturally vivacious. But what impresses people in a spiritual sense is when somebody’s had their heart prepared and love is just coming through them. You can tell. Even if you’ve
only got a split second chance to pat somebody on the back, or care for them, it makes a difference. Number 5, the ministry that is effective, that God blesses, is planned according to God’s purpose. Paul says, “It’s always been my ambition…” Circle that. Is it ok to have ambition? Sure it is. You’d better have an ambition. Your ambition better be to fulfill God’s life mission for your life and the ministry that He’s given you. Paul says, “It’s always been my ambition to preach
the gospel where Christ was not known. But now there is no more place for me to work in these regions. I plan to do so when I go to Spain.” Notice that Paul made plans. Some of you think you should just get up in the morning and say, “Lord, what do You want me to do today?” and kind of free-float through life. I don’t think so at all. I think life’s too important to go without a plan. I think we need to be strategic. The Bible says it’s foolish not to plan.” Dr. Joyce’s contact information is, Joyce-harrell@sbcglobal.net
He, the Master, would press home to those who would follow His lead. Men would find out in time what generous friends they were, and would in their turn freely give to them.” (Pulpit Commentary). Give liberally of your worldly substance to needy persons as you have an opportunity, according to your ability, and as cases require: and it shall be returned again to great advantage; with great rewards.” (Gill Commentary). So family, we don’t lose or lessen our re-
sources when we give, but only increase them. We don’t go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father when we extend ourselves to others because we are told in Proverbs 19:17- NIV-Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will reward them for what they have done. “What is given to the poor (those lacking in any area), or done for them, God will place it to account as lent to Him, lent upon interest (so the word signifies); He takes it kindly, as if it were done to Himself, … A
very rich reward shall be made for it: He will pay him again, in temporal, spiritual, and eternal blessings. Almsgiving is the surest and safest way of thriving.” (Matthew Henry) Our kind actions are neither done in vain nor unrewardingProverbs 11:17- Your kindness will reward you, but your cruelty will destroy you. Remember, we benefit ourselves by doing well to others while the cruel injure themselves as well as others. (Fausset) Enable One Faith Fellowship to

HOW DARE YOU, GOD? (PART X) “And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: Knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?” - Exodus 10:7 (KJV)
LADY DR. PHELENCIA A. WHITE
Moses didn’t pick this fight, but God would certainly finish it. “And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart…that I might shew these
my signs before him: And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt…that ye may know how that I am the LORD.” (Ex. 10:1-2) Crises ALWAYS reveals TRUE CHARACTER. Sometimes it is only by going THROUGH THE CONFUSION that you will get to WHAT GOD WANTS to accomplish. In this case, GOD WANTED PHARAOH to use EVERYTHING HE HAD to FIGHT HIM. There comes a
TIME, when as HARD AS IT IS TO WATCH, that you must ALLOW people to COMPLETELY HANG THEMSELVES just like Haman with Esther. (Esther 7) After all of the ILL GOTTEN GAINS PHARAOH had amassed in his ENTIRE LIFETIME nothing could STOP HIS DETERMINATION to DESTROY that which GOD WOULD NOT ALLOW! Preferring to HONOR FLESH, Pharaoh’s SERVANTS said, “How long SHALL THIS MAN be
a snare unto us?” Their DISOBEDIENCE was their OWN SNARE! (vs. 3) God didn’t tell PHARAOH to just LET THE MEN GO to serve Him. He said, “LET MY PEOPLE GO!” THAT MEANT EVERYBODY…Women and children, too. But they DECIDED to ONLY LET THE MEN GO. With this decision, Pharaoh then drove Moses and Aaron from out of his presence. (vs. 11) As a WOMAN OF GOD, it is GOOD TO KNOW that we MATTER IN THE EYES
OF GOD. WE ALL have PURPOSE! Like it! Love it! Or Leave it! But how many of us WOMEN have LOST WHO WE ARE to BECOME who we are REALLY NOT only to HATE SOMEONE who is WHAT WE WISH WE COULD REALLY BE? Some women THOUGHT that God could ONLY BRING THEM TO THE FOREFRONT if they got a FORMAL EDUCATION, Continued On Page 15 HOW DARE YOU ...
