Creating Content in QuestionPoint Clayton County Code SG3Y27 1. Create an account in the TurningPoint user community, www.turning‐talk.com 2. Enter your authorization code when prompted. 3. Select your desired State, Standard, Content, and Grade Level information. 4. In the pane below select the standard and sub‐standards you wish to use. 5. Click on the question you would like to add, then click on the Select Button. 6. Once you have selected the question you want to use, in the lower pane select either preview (if you would like to see your assessment before saving it) or Summary is you are ready to save your test. 7. From the Summery screen click on the Download button to save your test as a file. Select the file type you would like to download.
Using QuestionPoint with TurningPoint 1. Create your question list in QuestionPoint http://www.turning‐talk.com/qp/ . *You must be a registered user on TurningTalk and have an activation code to access this content. 2. When downloading choose the .tqz file option. *You will need TurningPoint for PPT 4.2.1 or higher in order to import this file type into TurningPoint. 3. From the TurningPoint toolbar, go to Tools, then TurningPoint Parser, choose QuestionPoint. 4. Browse to the downloaded file. Click Open. 5. You may be prompted to add these slides at the end of your presentation or create a new presentation for the questions. You can use the slide sorter view in PPT to rearrange the slide order to better suit the flow of your lesson.
