PRINT CLIENT MEDIACORP PROJECT The STAGE IT Show

THE COMPANY MediaCorp is Singapore’s leading media company with the most complete range of platforms, spanning television, radio, newspapers, magazines, movies, digital and out-of-home media. It pioneered the development of Singapore’s broadcasting industry, with the broadcast of Radio in 1936 and Television in 1963. Today, MediaCorp has over 50 products and brands in four languages (English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil), reaching out to all adults in Singapore every week. THE PROJECT A new technology trade show will open shop in Singapore in two years time. Called The Stage, it is a platform for companies in the tech industry to showcase their products. The event is organized by Singapore’s largest broadcaster MediaCorp and the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF). I designed the initial sales brochure that will be used for sponsorship and other marketing events.

THE COMPANY With a portfolio of international tradeshows serving communications, engineering, machinery and lifestyle industries, SES continues to create and design new event conferences to meet market needs. SES is a member of All World Exhibitions Alliance, a global network with over 50 offices worldwide. THE PROJECT I designed the main graphic and layout for the event brochures of the following events for SES: Food and Hotel Asia, Broadcast Asia, Creative Content Production, CommunicAsia.

THE COMPANY Instadme is a videomaking mobile app that will let you create ads using your video and our amazing video effects from any mobile device. THE PROJECT A simple flyer was made to show how easy the app works. Following the brand colours and theme, we created a clean graphic that gives a step-by-step guide on using the app.

THE COMPANY TutaPoint provides school districts with innovative services to improve student performance in the classroom, on state exams and standardized tests. With patent-pending technology, TutaPoint can link with a school’s Learning Management System (LMS) or Student Information System (SIS) to provide rapid remediation for students that are falling behind. THE PROJECT Teachers and school districts seeking a comprehensive solution, which uses technology to monitor and measure student performance, should consider one of TutaPoint’s cost effective student performance solutions. These services were highlighted in a simple DL brochure.

JQ Concepts JQ Wine Selections

THE COMPANY Justin Quek is one of Asia’s most celebrated chefs. With his modern approach to French cuisine that melds a mastery of technique with a delicacy of touch, he singlehandedly put Singapore on the global gastronomic map, and in the process inspired a new generation of chefs. THE PROJECT Posters were designed to market Justin’s new wines, Legras, Schloss Vollrads & Poupille. These are 3 very unique wines from different countries introduced in his restaurant, Sky on 57, at the Marina Bay Sands.

Justin Quek is proud to present Poupille under the label.

Poupille is a wine estate located in Côtes de Castillon in France. East of Bordeaux 6 miles away from St. Emilion.The land is composed of old vines aged 35 years old in average facing south at the top of hills thus the name, Poupille, French for end of the hill. Represented in the famous Japanese manga series, Les Gouttes de Dieu, this red organic wine is made of 100% Merlot, producing a well structured wine that is approachable in early age and classical Bordeaux taste which well balances. At present, Poupille is managed by Philippe Carrille the fifth generation of wine producers. The company strives to respect the environment starting from the grape to the wine and has received organic and environmental certification (ISO 14001 – ECOCERT France) since 2008.

THE COMPANY Justin Quek is one of Asia’s most celebrated chefs. With his modern approach to French cuisine that melds a mastery of technique with a delicacy of touch, he singlehandedly put Singapore on the global gastronomic map, and in the process inspired a new generation of chefs. THE PROJECT The Nutri Double Boiler was designed starting from the concept, structure, 3d rendering, packaging and creative campaign. My main tasks were to design the packaging, product brochure and cookbook to launch this new product.

THE COMPANY Justin Quek is one of Asia’s most celebrated chefs. THE PROJECT Inspired by the different flavours of Asian cuisine, I created a range of packaging designs for Chef Justin’s sauces. Featuring familiar Singaporean flavours like Chili Crab, Satay, Black Pepper, etc. I envisioned a product that is easily recognizable in the market whilst keeping a sense of style and elegance to the overall look and feel.

THE COMPANY E-quezt Concierge is a professional exhibition and conference organiser based in Singapore.

THE PROJECT TDA is an annual event and was jointly organised by MINDEF/SAF and partner companies for fellow employers and NSmen. The ‘Total Defence Symposium’ comprises of a forum and awarding ceremony for TDA recipients. I was assigned to propose a stage design that will be used for the event, together with other event collaterals such as invitations and booklets.

They also provide workshops for businesses and corporate clients. THE PROJECT I created a branding that matches the character of the new and exciting business venture. An chinese opera inspired logo that links back to Singapore’s culture and philosophies, clean colours, and a leaner typeface. Applications on stationaries such as business cards, letterheads and notebooks were included in the set.

THE COMPANY Haba Asia Pacific is the sole Asian distributor of CAFE DON JULIAN by Cabarrus family from Guatemala, exclusively in Hong Kong and China. THE PROJECT The story behind the bean. So many things happen to us over a cup of coffee but have we ever really thought of how it came about? More than just something to sip and enjoy, it connects us with each other. The journey to a great cup of coffee began with two fathers who forged a friendship and built HABA Asia Pacific Limited. I created a comprehensive rebranding of Haba Asia Pacific which covered design application for stationeries to mobile responsive web design.

THE COMPANY IDA aims to develop a vibrant infocomm ecosystem where MNCs and innovative foreign companies work alongside local infocomm enterprises and start-ups to innovate and grow the infocomm industry. It also seeks opportunities to grow local infocomm companies by facilitating their access into the global marketplace. THE PROJECT Design an electronic direct mailer focusing on what IDA does actively supporting the growth of innovative technology companies and start-ups in Singapore, working with leading global IT companies while developing information technology and telecommunications within Singapore with a view to serve citizens of all ages.

THE COMPANY A premier university in Asia, the Singapore Management University (SMU) is internationally recognised for its world-class research and distinguished teaching. THE PROJECT Design an electronic direct mailer for an upcoming homecoming event theed after the infamous, "Grease" movie, with a little twist, adding in modern elements such as the GLEE rendition of the classic 80s movie.

ONLINE & DIGITAL CLIENT INSTADME PROJECT Pitch Deck THE COMPANY Instadme is a videomaking mobile app that will let you create ads using your video and our amazing video effects from any mobile device. THE PROJECT A pitch deck was designed to show the functionalities of the Instadme mobile app. Anyone can turn their photos and video clips into video slideshows, quickly and easily. These can be used as marketing videos and slideshow videos, designed to stand out on social. Anyone who tell your story in minutes.

CLIENT WIZPAY PROJECT Pitch Deck THE COMPANY Wizpay is the ultimate payment solution for shops by using QR codes to offer an easy, flexible and engaging service to make shopping more comfortable for both retailers and consumers. Since the introduction of flash code, WizPay™ has digitized the whole interaction between customer and retailer. THE PROJECT The pitch deck was designed to show how Wizpay is transforming the way shopping works. The viewer is guided through the steps of how the platform work and allows its users to directly interact with the platform for a more personalized experience.

VIDEO CLIENT NEXTAN PROJECT Elderly Monitoring System (EMS) THE COMPANY Nextan is an established and reliable surveillance solutions provider with expertise in advanced surveillance solution, systems automation and video specialist intelligence. Based in Singapore, Nextan uses innovative and comprehensive technologies to develop monitoring and surveillance solutions that are keyed for mission critical applications. THE PROJECT The EMS comprises of sensors and a main device installed inside a home unit. These are low-power wireless devices that are capable of detecting accidental falls, measuring body temperature, monitoring heart rate and other functions. In case of emergency, alert signals will be sent to family members and caregivers via SMS, email or phone calls. I was tasked to created an audio visual presentation of how this simple device can be used, and its benefits to the user.

Artique Studio Products and Services How-To

THE COMPANY Artique Studio is a lifestyle brand that encourages self expression through adventurous and creative gifting ideas. The first of it’s kind to introduce canvas prints, handmade canvas lamps, partitions and mobile phone stands made from eco-friendly materials in Singapore. THE PROJECT In this project, I wanted to showcase how easy it is to create customised gifts through the Artique Studio platform. From simple photos taken through mobile phones to high resolution photographs from high end cameras, the studio is able to create one-of-a-kind canvas prints and designs. View the full clip here.

Institut Francais/French Embassy VOILAH 2015

THE COMPANY The Service for Cultural Cooperation and Cultural Action (SCAC) / Institut Français Singapour (IFS) leads and supports cultural, scientific and educational cooperation between France and Singapore. It promotes the teaching of French language, the French creative industries and the French savoir-faire in the fields of higher education and research. It aims to strengthen the French influence in Singapore, while acting as a centre of expertise. Facing current global challenges, IFS endeavours to promote French attractiveness and expertise through innovation. THE PROJECT This intense cultural cooperation plays as a major asset for France in terms of soft power and economic diplomacy. To be part of this exciting project was an honor and great privilege. I got to meet and work with important people from the French Embassy for several months. A small team of designers at my former workplace Artifela Design, brainstormed for weeks and finally came up with the concept of using paint splashes in the French colors. The movement gives energy to the flat design making it less 2-dimensional. It’s a celebration of French culture and innovations and needs to be lively and energetic. The key concept was applied to several marketing collaterals for the event, including road and display banners, program booklets, flyers, brochures, website, etc.

ILLUSTRATION CLIENT MCYS | MCF Singapore PROJECT Training Certification Pathway THE COMPANY MSF develops the “heartware� for Singapore through our policies, community infrastructure, programmes and services. Our mission is to nurture a resilient and caring society that can overcome challenges together. Previously known as the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, the Ministry was officially restructured on November 2012. THE PROJECT This freelance project for MCYS gave me the chance to create a colourful graphic map of the courses and seminars offered to reach certain teaching levels in Singapore.

CLIENT Unilever Singapore PROJECT SEAA Marketing Team Characters THE COMPANY The Unilever brand, found in consumer products in millions of homes across 150 countries, is a trusted name in nutrition, hygiene and personal care. Throughout its history, Unilever has been adding vitality to the lives of consumers. From comforting soups to warm a winter’s day, to sensuous soaps that make you feel fabulous, our products help people get more out of life. THE PROJECT Unilever is a world brand, having a diverse set of individuals and members in the organization. I create character illustrations for each of the team members for the SEAA HR MArketing Department while showing a bit of each of their personalities.

ILLUSTRATION CLIENT Matthew Robison PROJECT Princess Hiccup Book Illustration and Design THE CLIENT Author Matthew Robison first commissioned me to create sample illustrations for characters and covers in October 2014. The full project was awarded to me after the successful launch of Kickstarter in November 2014 where the book was backed up by 101 individuals from around the world. THE PROJECT Princess Hiccup is a 10x10 inch, full-color, digitally illustrated book, where I combined my love for both simple shapes and textures. I do not know if you would agree but this has given more depth to the scenes and also the characters in the story. The book was published in July of 2015 and has received some rave reviews on Amazon.

THE CLIENT Author Matthew Robison first commissioned me to create the illustrations for characters and covers in April 2016. THE PROJECT The Rainbow Knight will be a 10x10 inch, full-color book with detailed pencil drawn illustrations. Currently, we are looking into getting a full funding for the book via Kickstarter.

Artique Store Marketing and Branding

THE COMPANY Artique Studio is a lifestyle brand that encourages self expression through adventurous and creative gifting ideas. The first of it’s kind to introduce canvas prints, handmade canvas lamps, wooden partitions and mobile phone stands made from eco-friendly materials in Singapore. THE PROJECT The project involved extensive art direction from branding, marketing and event collaterals. One of the first exhibitions where a glimpse of the shop was showcased was during the Singapore and Premium Gifts Fair. A website was re-designed to an e-commerce shop. A fun, vibrant and information rich website that caters to our target audience. Digital content were also added to the website such as an online catalog to provide an in-depth description of the products at the store. Printed collaterals, Facebook ads and posts were also put into place and designed to further promote the store’s services.

THE PROJECT OASIST is a social enterprise from Singapore that seeks to improve lives in poverty areas through design and technology. The OASIST portable water purification system is the first product to market that can be easily used to produce safe drinking water from any fresh water source instantly.

Create awareness on the need for such a product while also gathering initial funding for the production of more bottles.

NEPAL NEEDS SAFE DRINKING WATER As a result of the earthquake, water supply has been badly crippled. Functioning water sources have an increased demand by 500 percent since the earthquake. In the aftermath of the disaster, to repair the water pipes will take some time. The need to secure clean, safe drinking water is of great priority to prevent spreading of diseases caused by poor water sources.
