Introducing Dolphin Movers Although times have changed since Dolphin Movers was established in 1991, our mission has remained the same – to provide a professional portfolio of moving, shipping and storage services that are reliable, costeffective and responsive to the demands of individuals and corporates in an industry that is rapidly evolving. We are situated conveniently in North London by the M25 and only 20 minutes away from Central London. Our facility comprises 88,000 sq ft of general warehousing, 20,000 sq ft of high bay pallet storage space and 2,000 pallet locations. Our purpose-built warehouse is fully alarmed and monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are also proud to mention that we have our own modern fleet of twenty seven vehicles, each fully maintained and fitted with real-time satellite tracking. We offer a comprehensive range of services that include domestic and international removals, car shipping, corporate moves, freight forwarding, storage, including selfstorage and fine art shipping. Our warehouse is a HM Revenue and Customs Approved and we have been accredited with BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance. As our customer we invest in you and take care of your belongings as if they were ours. Our removals team are supportive, dedicated and enthusiastic; our packing crews are endowed with the latest packing techniques; our fleet of purpose built vehicles are fully maintained and fitted with real time satellite tracking for enhanced security. GUIDE TO PLANNING YOUR HOME MOVE Home Survey: the first step of a move is to have a free survey. We will assess the volume of your contents, its fragility and discuss your specific moving requirements.

Estimate: following the survey we will provide you with a competitive and comprehensive moving estimate. We will use our best efforts to tailor a rate appropriate to your budget.

FLEXIBLE PACKING OPTIONS

STORAGE

Self-Pack Service: if you prefer to pack your own items this is the service to select. We deliver all the necessary packing materials to your door in ample time before your move.

We offer short and long term storage options within our own modern facility located conveniently in North London, Enfield. The facility is dry, clean, secure and gated with 24 hours security. There are three storage options:

Fragile Pack Service: we will pack the fragile items

Containerised storage: this is the conventional

Drawing on our experience and industry expertise, our team will discuss with you the various shipping options available and prepare a detailed quotation, personalising the move to suit your requirements. Storage If you are not ready to receive your goods immediately, we offer short and long term containerised storage for the interim period. Should you require this service your shipment will be held at our secure warehouse until you require it to be shipped.

Your Guide to Moving Overseas: Home Survey: moving abroad first requires that we conduct a thorough pre-move survey to assess the volume of your shipment. This will be carried out by our international moving team who will also discuss with you the various shipping modes available, tailoring the move package to satisfy your requirements.

Packing & Loading: as specialists in international moving, our export packing crews have all undertaken intensive training programmes in packing and handling; our packaging materials are purposemade and chosen with meticulous care and include acid-free tissue paper, sturdy corrugated sheets and waterproof, padded blanket furniture wrap. For items that are extra-large, awkward or fragile, we provide made-to-measure crates. We will export pack your items at a mutually agreed time and date.

Sea to Destination: shipments sent by sea to all intercontinental destinations are serviced by 20ft and 40ft steel containers. They can be shared or exclusive depending on the volume and your personal preference. Exclusive use of a container provides for maximum security and space but you bear the full cost of the container, while a shared container is cheaper but transit time depends on the availability

of other consignments to fill the container. Please note that in both cases this service is not available for all countries because of differing customs regulations. Road to Destination: Europe is served exclusively by road. Using our own large, modern fleet we operate two main services. The first is an ‘exclusive’, dedicated truck service that loads at your residence and travels direct to the destination address within three days, while the second service is shared and travels to your destination address via our warehouse and can take up to twenty days depending on final destination. In both cases, we will keep you fully informed of your shipments progress throughout its journey.

Air freight to Destination: this is the fastest mode of transport, appropriate for shipments that have to meet a tight deadline.

Delivery at Destination: we have a global network of trusted and professional agents and partners that we have selected to undertake all the necessary formalities at destination, including customs clearance. If you have requested for us to deliver to residence and unpack, the crew will unpack and place your items according to your instructions. Before they leave, they will check to ensure that you are satisfied and that your items have arrived in perfect condition.

Between the UK and mainland Europe we operate a scheduled weekly service, and we have trucks daily within Europe enabling us to collect or deliver vehicles on a shared or exclusive basis. We work with a network of trusted and established partners in over 130 countries; arrange the safe transportation of vehicles to over 2000 ports worldwide; and annually ship 9000 vehicles to countries as distant as Chile, Cyprus, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SHIPPING MODES CONTAINER (Full Container Load & Less than Container Load): This is the preferred shipping option. The container can be exclusive or shared. The former is the safest option but you bear the full cost of the container, while the latter is cheaper and you share the space with other peoples’ vehicles. Having successfully adopted the tilt and lash technique, we can load up to five vehicles per 40ft container. We collect nationwide and receive deliveries at our terminal. Departures are regular to most ports worldwide.

Roll on roll off (RORO): This service is limited to specific countries and ports, and requires delivery direct to the port of departure. The vehicle is simply driven onto the vessel for loading and driven off the vessel upon arrival.

Short & long term storage: We offer short and long term vehicle storage at our modern, secure facility located conveniently in North London, Enfield. We accept anything from one to one hundred vehicles.

Vehicle dismantling & loading: We have a team of full time mechanical engineers ready to partially or fully dismantle vehicles for shipping. Parts are loaded into containers or wooden crates for enhanced protection. We also offer nationwide vehicle recovery for nonrunners, non-road-worthy or damaged vehicles.

Vehicle Collection & Delivery: We offer nationwide collections by trade plate driver, covered transporter and multiple car transporter. As members of the Car Delivery Network (CDN) we offer very competitive collection and delivery rates.

Air freight: This is the quickest method of transporting your vehicle. Transit time is approximately two days worldwide. This option is preferable for high value, prestige, racing or exhibition cars.

In line with this, we have invested in a purpose-built storage facility in North London that comprises 88,000 sq ft of general warehousing, 20,000 sq ft of high bay pallet storage space and 2,000 pallet locations. Our site is fully alarmed, protected by monitored CCTV and guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility has been designed to cater for the needs of both personal and business clients, and it is able to store multipurpose containers, commercial pallets, motor vehicles, machinery, furniture and fine art.

With regular self-storage you have to hire a van, load it, drive it to the storage depot and then unload it yourself this can be tiring, time-consuming and costly. Mobile selfstorage, on the other hand, is convenient, cheaper and flexible. We deliver a storage container to your residence and leave it for you to load in your own time. When you are then ready for it to be collected, we pick it up and store it at our facility in North London. Each unit is 35 sq ft and its volume 250 cubic feet. It can be supplied as an empty container for general home storage or fixed with shelving inside suitable for archiving.
